May be one of my new favorite spots. Stopped by on a whim, on my way to another local neighborhood bar for drinks. I found fun vibrant decor, a cozy atmosphere, and friendly helpful staff. My prickly pear margarita and jicama salad were quite tasty and reasonably priced. Looking forward to going back and trying more items from the menu!
The Bloody Mary was tasty, especially with the serrano infused tequila, they garnish it with lime, a slice of cucumber, several peppers, a sweet pickle, and a mound of fried onion, it was delicious. The Torta Cochinito Pibil was well seasoned, as well as the diced potatoes. My only complaint is they don't have much of a variety of dishes, but their drink menu is creative any plenty of different beers, mixed drinks, and specialty cocktails.
Never been here and NEVER will word on the street the owner don’t like paying his employees how does it feel to abuse people who come to this country for a better opportunity in life. Get over yourself and pay what you owe to that young lady! And others as I hear she’s not the first one this has happen to. Im ashamed of this restaurant and the one across the street steady abusing their Mexican employees you must have forgotten that you’re in Pilsen we will SPEAK UP ND DEFEND OUR PEOPLE SPECIALLY OUR WOMEN!
Burgers (these are insanely good burgers) and chilaquiles are awesome. Hand made tortillas for the pibil tacos are awesome. Wings are tasty. Staff is great.
The Diablo burger is probably my favorite burger in all of Chicago. The cocktails - particularly the Mango con Chile - are excellent. Their tacos are also fantastic. The whole staff is awesome; super friendly and attentive. New favorite spot in Pilsen!
Food and drinks here were great, this was my second time at this restaraunt. The waitresses were very attentive and kind. They have indoor and outdoor patio dining options. The guacamole with pineapple topping was delish~
Returned a burger i requested medium well and was given medium rare. I only knew it was medium rare cause i took a bite and saw red. I then proceeded to cut it in half to check if the rest of the patty & it was the same. I returned the burger and was given the same patty I bit into and cut in half but on a new bun. How do they know i don't have covid? All of my mouth bacteria back on the griddle they used to cook other customers burgers/food . yuck!
The veggie burger is super tasty and delicious. The cocktails are super yummy. The staff was very kind and friendly. The service was over and beyond. The ocean theme on the walls of the restaurant is pretty awesome. They also have an outdoor patio.
Theres a reason this is a 4.4 startrestaurant. The service is atrocious when they are busy and they’re full of excuses. They have the seating but not the capacity to feed a full house. There is no communication as to how long the food will take. That is the first thing that upset us. The food is ok but we’d never know because after the 40 minute wait we get a basket of sweet potato fries ? . We ordered fish tacos, wings, sweet potato fries and regular potato fries and only thing we got was the sweet potatoe fries. 40 fkn minutes and all we got was fries and excuses. they made no effort to correct the issue. All they said was to come back some other time when they weren’t as busy Saw this place from the bottom when it was just a closed space with nothing. Truth is they don’t need our business and they made sure of it. They have the clientele they need and the owner said I could take my money elsewhere so I guess thats what we’ll do since it’s too much to cook appetizers for someone.
Amazing food and amazing people! One of my favorite places to go! It’s a must try!
