The bowl of pho is massive! Good food and lots of meat choices to choose!
OMG! I was so disappointed with Pro 888 now. I order meatball pho. It’s cold inside with meatballs. I don’t ask for Baba with Chai Taitea but have many overnight boba inside. And the straw is dirty from inside. Totally disappointed that. I don’t eat pho in a short time.
Amazing amazing pho. I probably could have done with not putting all of the extra ingredients and sauces in it because the broth was so flavorful, but ended up doing so out of habit. I got the traditional Pho 888 combo broth. I loved the meat and tripe! It was a large bowl so I couldn’t finish it but it was delicious. Service is as so sweet and fast. Can’t wait to be back!
The server was friendly. We ordered two dishes and were not very satisfied. I'm confused by all the recommendations of this restaurant.
Have never left a bad review, but was definitely not impressed with this place. The pho was decent, but nothing special, and the spring rolls were terrible - the pork meat tasted a little funky. The restaurant itself was extremely crowded and did not look clean. Altho the staff was super friendly, I would not recommend this spot.
I had wanted to try this one out just to say that I had, and I was pleasantly surprised. My friend got the pho, and I got my favorite: bun bo hue. I was sad that it didn't come with cubed pig's blood as I've grown accustomed to, though aside from that addition, the flavor was wonderful. (I'm not sure if it was skipped because they assumed by my being black that I wouldn't enjoy it or if it wasn't something they served, but I will definitely be asking the next time that I go. I hadn't wanted to bother the staff too much since they were kind enough to serve us quickly even though it seemed like we had interrupted a staff meal. ?) The bun bo hue wasn't overwhelmingly spicy nor savory, and the flavors of the beef really came through. My favorite part of the dish though, oddly enough, were the rice noodles. They weren't overcooked and were nice and springy! I would definitely go back.
After we ordered, one of the cooks came out of the kitchen and pulled out a mystery container out of a mountain of freezer-burned bags in an overflowing freezer in the dining room. It was a bad sign and we should have just left. There were some contractors installing signs inside the restaurant, who asked us to move. They proceeded to spray and clean the wall directly next to us, kicking up dust. The soup was okay. The sugar cane drink was sour. The iced coffee drink was so bad, we just left it behind.
This place have been around since I was a kid and like many of the restaurants here, it's authentic. Great food and open late. You can't go wrong here.
I've gone to many Pho restaurants and found this shop to be the best. I go there every week, Kim is a lovely woman who remembers me and always does a wonderful job in taking care of me. My wife thinks I'm a bit Pho crazy, but it's so good. They were closed for a few days so I walked down the street to Tank Noodles and ended up throwing it all away as it was no where close to 888.
ROACHES!!! Normally I do not leave reviews but I feel that I need to warn potential customers. I ordered on ubereats and one of my soups has a roach in it. It floated up after transferring my soup into a bowl and stirring. I know that you run a risk when ordering out but a roach! I'm pretty sure that that is what I'm looking at. I strongly do not recommend this place. The cleanliness is clearly not there if roaches are in your food. 0/10
