Beef papaya salad
Average hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant. A pretty large menu. There was only 1 person working the dining room for lunch during our visit so service was slow. Food was average. Cleanliness was average. Place looked pretty rundown.
Yummy!!!As a vegetarian, I love the clay pot rice, veggie and tofu dish a lot. I've also tried the tofu bahn-mi and the rice noodles stir fry with veggies and tofu. The flavors are on point. The food is fresh. The spicy oil on the side is homemade and delicious. And lastly the jasmine tea, yum!!!
Its very good pho & vietnamese food. broth had great flavor, good amount of meats. Will go back when I'm nearby
The waiter (old lady) was rushing us to order when we’ve never been there before and she kept trying to offer us different dishes when we already knew what we wanted.
My go-to Viet restaurant in the city. Been eating here for over a decade, and I am never disappointed - so many options with large portions. Pho broth can be beef, chicken, OR veggie so definitely a more vegetarian-friendly spot.

I ordered Bun dau mam tom and Bun cha ca Ha Noi. They just give me the veggies for Bun cha ca Ha Noi only. Then I called them and asked about where was my Bun dau’s veggies. They said it was already in the bag. But no. I know with veggies for each of them because I am Vietnamese and I used to have Bun dau at Pho 777 so many times. I thought they ran out of the Bun dau’s veggies, then they just give me the Bun cha ca’s veggies for everything. I was so mad bc my husband came back to the restaurant again asked for my Bun dau’s veggies. But they didn’t give him any thing. I spoke to the manager through the phone but she was so mean. Moreover, I asked her why my togo order didn’t have utensils . She said “you have to ask for it”. Wth! Fist time receive togo foods without togo stuff.Where is my veggies ( cucumber, Vietnamese balm, basil,…)? So disappointed about my food.
I’m quite sure that this place is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Chicago.
We ordered a plethora of food and had such a good time here. They were understaffed so I couldn't order "Cha ca la vong" and our order came out slowly but they were constantly apologetic and provided great service. We ordered- Pho bap bo (average)- Pho tai nam (average)- Bo la lot (highly recommend)- Bun cha ha noi (highly recommend)- Banh cuon nhan thit (recommend)- Hen xuc banh da (highly recommend)- Nom bo kho (average)The portion is huge and its very affordable. I'd definitely come here again and bring my friends here.
