Cashier wasn't welcoming and didnt suggest anything just pointed at menu but there was so much to read i didnt care to read so i just wanted to get out of there and told him to give me regular .he didnt suggest chese i just chose chesewhiz cause thats how i originally got it when I ate at genos and a few other Philly sandwiches in Philadelphia they taste about the same but I haven't been in Philly in years after I got to the house I rembered you eat them with peppers and or green half tomatoes the hard ones.these people didn't even offer none even if it was extra i would pay for it to get the full expeirnce .I alos got an order of fries that bag was one size but it was less then half and it wasn't really tasty or appetizing .the price for the Philly it's expensive I think I paid around 37 bucks for 2 Philly regular plus 1 side of fries when I saw how expensive I was gna pay I skipped the pop. I knw tines are hard but maybe the facility can give generous amount of fries and also include in the meal pops like mcdonalds. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was good proportions it was enough but the bread was skinnier then a subway sandwich .I can say I rather not come here and settle with McDonald's. I get 2 meals w fries and pop for less then 20 bucks here 2 sandwiches plus 1 order fries was a joke...I won't come here again.its good to try but I won't be coming g here on regular basis.times are hard but don't make it obvious when you pay so much for 2 sandwiches and give you a little less then half a bag of fries
If you've lived on the east coast at all, there are foods you crave that mostly just aren't the same here: bagels, NY pizza slices, zeppoli (deep fried beignet or pizza dough with cinnamon sugar), cheesesteaks, grinders, hoagies, etc. PB is an absolute treasure in Chicago that has 100% authentic Philly cheesesteaks and grinders just like you remember them, and they even call pop soda on the menus. While cheesesteaks are the star, do not neglect the Italian grinder, especially if you are part of the Bari vs. D'Amatos vs. Graziano conversation--it is a showstopper and definitely a dark horse contender for best Italian sandwich in Chicago.
The best Philly cheesesteaks I ever had.
Omg their Philly is too die for, sandwich was so big ( I ordered the small) had left overs warmed in the oven next day! Still Amazing!
Beat Philly & Italian beef in town. Staff was so accommodating & helpful in guiding our selection. Actually returned in the snow on the same night to order more. 10 stars would suggest!!
First timer, the wait is was a little annoying. Gentleman taking the orders needs a tune-up in the manners department. The food, well all I had was a salad... lol!!!
Great Food I Ordered Through DoorDash The Food Was Sooo Good & Wrapped So Nice & Still Warm Definitely Will Be Back!
I just passed by here to order some food for takeout. I ordered Philly Steak Nachos, Cheez It Tenders and Philly Fries. Luckily it came really quick. Philly Steak Nachos is a nachos chips topped with philly steak, cream cheese sauce , pizza cheese, hot pepper, diced onion green pepper and tomato. Cheez It Tenders is a chicken tenders dipped in buttermilk then dredged in crushed cheez it crackers. Fried to a cheezylicious golden brown. Served with our homemade ranch. It's all about the crunch. Philly Fries is a French fries seasoned with Old Bay served with a white cream cheese sauce on the side. I will eat it at my office. I will write a review again after I eat these.
Always a tasty trip the wait was long but that's how you know everything was prepared especially for you! I recommend everythang
Dont let the good reviews fool you. Ordered pizza half cheese and sausage and garlic cheese bread. Was told it would be delivered with in an hour. Well it was an hour and a half and it was only five blocks from my hotel. Then when I got it pizza was COLD and full of grease and the aluminum foil was melted into my cheese garlic bread. So definitely will NEVER ORDER FROM THEM EVER!!
