Always super extra friendly service and great food! love this place!

I found this place about a month and a half ago. I’ve been back at least five times. Tried something different each time. The staff is so friendly and accommodating would highly recommend it

Came here with a friend for brunch! Awesome food, awesome service- just awesome all the way around! I highly recommend coming here!!!! Will be back soon!! I regret not taking any food pics. I was too excited to eat to take a picture!

My fiancé and I have been coming to Pastores since they first opened, in the middle of the pandemic. This is a family owned restaurant and we've come to know the owners and staff well. Ruben has worked hard to keep Pastores going during the pandemic. Everyone is so friendly, accommodating and they always go above and beyond for their customers. The coffee is good and all of the food is good. Breakfast tacos and mini breakfast sandwiches cannot be missed, and the chefs cook a mean turkey bacon if you like your bacon well done :) I've never had a bad meal here. This is the kind of place that makes you feel welcome and at home. This fills a void for a proper breakfast spot in Lincoln Square and is a must try. Bonus, they have outdoor seating in the spring and summer!

We visited this place hoping we would enjoy a nice Mexican lunch since the reviews were so high. The service was very attemptive and friendly but the huevos divorsiados and chilaquiles were very bland. The rice is not good, the beans lacked flavor and the main dishes were missing that kick that Mexican food has. The salsas very underwhelming and the coffee was horrible. Left feeling disappointed, I really wanted to love this place but the Mexican offerings were too insipid. Maybe their American offerings are better but I will not be coming here for Mexican food.

What a fabulous brunch experience! I had a great time celebrating my birthday here this year. Family friendly, but also two siblings getting litty on BYOB mimosas friendly. Everyone working was generous, attentive, and could sing on key. The stuffed French toast? Decadent. The chicken and mini waffles had the perfect chicken to waffle ratio, with ample sauce options -- but the real stand-out was the fresh squeezed orange juice. I highly highly recommend this spot for a meal with anyone.

Wow. High quality food with a diverse menu. The dishes here are delicious! Portions are large and reasonably priced. Drinks are tasty. Service is quick. This place is small with eclectic decor so depending on the time of day there may be a wait but it’s well worth it. Warm and friendly waitstaff greet you with big smiles. It’s a must visit.

Highly, highly recommend! I have been there a few times. The food has always been great and the staff is really friendly (Maria is awesome!). Definitely recommend the breakfast tacos and mole enchiladas. They were delicious and at a reasonable price point. Will continue to go back

This is a place in my long time neighborhood on the north side of Chicago, Lincoln Square. It's a cozy and an ostentatious place for a Mexican inspired menu. The mural art is worth the price of admission. And the people are kind and down-to-earth.

Maria is the most friendliest server ever! When I ordered crepes she suggested to ask for two different flavors. She read my mind and I'm so glad I did it. The atmosphere is great and the celebrity mural by the bathrooms was fun to look at. Almost identified everyone ?
