Went here prior to hawks game. Really nice bar and atmosphere. Staff was very nice and sat us right away. Pizza was disappointing but appetizers were good. Decent cocktails and beer selection although the bartender seemed overwhelmed with crowd.
The night of the The Culture Tour was a fun night! This location is in walking distance of the United Center and a great place to “pre-game/pre-event”. Good food. Good drink. Good music.
Simple menu, prices are what you would expect for Chicago. Nice location and great service. Great selection of beers and delicious food. A bit under staffed, not complaining the two of them did an awesome job. Just kitchen closes at an odd time (7PM).
I like going here before the United center. Food and drinks are good. Atmosphere is nice. The teamsters parking garage is useful. Don’t forget to get your validated ticket.
Stopped in for a drink before the concert on March 5th. Bartender was busy & handled the bar along with the orders coming in from the tables very quick & efficient! We took the free trolley over to the United Center. Jerry the driver was very clear on how & where to find him after the concert. He also knew his way around the traffic! Great experience from the drinks to the ride!!
Park Tavern is located near the United Center; right now it is only open when there is an event at the United Center. They still run a shuttle for guests to and from the UC. Be careful, however, because the shuttle driver does not pick you up exactly where he says he will pick you up. He'll park it half a block away and when you start to head over to get on the shuttle he drives away.The food is (and always has been) very good. When we last visited before a Blackhawks game on Sunday February 20th, the place was crowded. We ordered the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer -- it was great. For our entree, we both ordered fish and chips. The fish was delicious. The fries were barely warm I asked the manager if he could bring us some warm fries and he brought them out right away but they were only slightly warmer. Oh well.The staff here is fantastic. They're always friendly even though the are very busy; they do a great job given that they are only open limited hours and days right now. That's why we gave them a break with respect to the not so warm French fries.We recommend Park Tavern.
Came for food and drinks before an event at the United Center since it’s walking distance. They have an ok selection of beers but that’s about the only positive thing. We ordered a small pizza and nachos to eat. They obviously came frozen and they tasted the same if not worse than elementary school lunches. The nachos used American cheese and it was disgusting, the avocado on it was sad, and the chips were super soft and wouldn’t hold up the food. I’m pretty sure the tomatoes used were canned tomatoes too. Then the pizza tasted like cafeteria pizza from public schools. The cheese, sauce, and the crust tasted so disappointingly. I’m pretty sure the employees know how bad the food is because the server didn’t even ask “how’s your food?” or the usual “is everything ok?”. I was also close enough to see their spirit selection at the bar and again they have poor quality alcohol. If you come I would just stick to beer. If you’re into sours, ciders, or fun beers I would stay away as they wouldn’t have anything for you to drink besides water.
Great spot for anything happening at the United Center. Good food and fast friendly service plus they shuttle you to and from United Center.and you can park your car in garage across street for a mere $6. Highly recommend this place
Absolutely recommend jalapeño bacon Mac! Everything we had was incredible. .including the service!
Arrived just on time for our reservation. Great vibes and good food. Server wasn’t very responsive but seemed like she had a bunch of tables. They also clean the dishes from the table super quick…almost too quick sometimes. Shuttle will take you to the game after you eat and bring you back.
