I’m not one to usually post reviews but wow. The food here is amazing. I wish I would taken a picture of the jibarito and arroz but I was too hungry lol. I def recommend it. If you haven’t tried agua de parcha, do yourself a favor and order this drink. ❤️
I came here because my cousin recommended it and they did not disappoint! My food was delicious. I got a steak jibarito with rice & I love how welcome they made us feel! Love the family vibe this restaurant has. Will be back! Thank you.
Order food here for years.. dine in, delivery etc.I’ve been really unsatisfied with the staff and delivery service. They have cancelled my order multiple times without reason. There was two times that I even over heard the lady answering the phones ask a delivery guy if he “ wants to take a delivery” not knowing I heard the whole conversation. I then heard the delivery guy say “they probably won’t even tip well” .. they then cancelled the order and told us they ran out of the item… which was an apparent lie. For the record, I tip a minimum of $10 because I know how most delivery guys get paid. They have become unprofessional and lazy. I’m not out of delivery range because I’ve gotten multiple orders delivered here with no issue. Nor do I order around closing time. Apparently my moneys not good enough for them. Time to step it up guys..
The steak jibarito is so tasty especially the home made hot sauce. The Spanish rice tops it off. It’s also very tasty.
by far the best jibarito i’ve tried in chicago! i can’t WAIT to come back for more.
My wife and I accidentally stumbled on this place while in the area. The lunch we had was spectacular and cheap too. We will definitely be returning to this place!
The food is incredible, the service is impeccable. On a very busy Friday night there was one woman behind the counter and she was incredibly busy but super friendly. I love coming here since moving to the city.
In love with this place. Super affordable, DELICIOUS food that I will be dreaming about and craving for days. Jibarito, plaintains, and a 1/2 chicken was $25 pre-tax! Great portion sizes and great flavor! BF and I left the restaurant stuffed, with food left on our plates.
Awesome food and the owners are very hospitable and kind. Definitely will return for food.
Best Puerto Rican spot in the Midwest. Better than going to Puerto Rico. Trust me. I eat for a living.
