Treated like royalty with excellent service and extra treats at the table. The owner came out to greet us and asked us to come back soon. We were celebrating my sister's birthday and we were treated to a special dessert for her birthday. The menu was for brunch and the quality of the dishes was great.

A friend decided to have his wife's birthday party here. It turned out to be a great choice. With 10 of us at the table we were able to sample a large number of dishes and share family style. The food was excellent, portions good, staff was wonderful.

Enjoyed a birthday dinner party for 10... From cocktails & wine to small tapas, large plates, and desert, everything was delicious and the service spot on. Highly recommend the pork belly, lamb ribs, short ribs, and mussels, but really, everything was great. Definitely returning to Papa Cenar!

Totally underrated restaurant for brunch in this area. Service was great as was the food, reservations were accepted for large groups, Bloody Mary's were pretty spot on, variety of food that ranges from light to heavy to make sure there is something for everyone.

This place is an absolute must if you are a fan of anything Mediterranean. Sangria was absolutely refreshing and delicious and the food was outstanding. Shared plates and plenty to choose from. Incredibly nice and spacey restaurant with fantastic staff and excellent service. Going back next weekend with those who couldn’t make it today.

Have been here twice. Enjoyed it so much the first time I brought a party of 15 for dinner the Wednesday before thanksgiving. It’s a great neighborhood spot that I would recommend to anyone.

It is a beautiful place. But not really authentic Spanish food. We ordered several plates and most were sub par. The pork belly was the best tasting plate as it's hard to mess up. Expensive for what you get. Over $200 spent and we were still hungry. Our group decided we'd probably never go back.

Cool atmosphere. Great service. Incredibly long wait time for sub-par food. Everything on the menu sounded amazing, but we ended up disappointed. Scallops were decent, cauliflower showed up cold and completely burnt. Probably wouldn’t go back.

Excellent service. Every item recommended was next level delicious. We were eating vegetarian and there was plenty to enjoy. Especially recommend the pan con tomate and the farmer's squash (which we ordered twice). I can't wait to go back!

Wow. So this is the best tapas restaurant in Chicago. I’m comfortable saying that. We had an absolutely phenomenal meal here. The bone marrow and scallop dishes are not to be missed! Great service and ambience to boot!
