I’d never go back. The service was incredibly slow, champagne was warm, food was eh, and the whole experience was ridiculously overpriced. We were the last seating. Prepared to leave after the 90 minutes allotted — they then seated us 10 minutes late. We waited 10 minutes before a server even looked our way, and on top of that while we were still eating they started cleaning and vacuuming the dining room and moving tables around. 0 stars.
Consistently elegant and delicious. Service is impeccable with kind professional staff.
Felt that the food was prepared earlier in the day and sat out. The bread on the sandwiches was hard. The room in which the tea is held was crowded, tables are too close together, lighting is dim. Overall, was not the tea experience I have had at other hotels and tea rooms. Felt like a factory - get as many people in, serve them food that has been sitting out, and then turn over the tables quickly for the next group.
WAY OVER PRICED
It was my first experience of “high tea” with my daughter and we loved it. The choice of teas was nice and the small bites were delicious.
Great service!
I brought my two teenagers daughter to The Palm Court for Sunday afternoon High Tea. We had a wonderfully attentive server, Sead. The tea was lovely and always recharged with hot water as needed. The tier presentation was lovely. Everything on the menu was delectable. The live harp music was lovely. It blended well with the fountain and ambiance. This is definitely a “must-do” while in Chicago.
We had a great time. Our server was amazing and attentive. It’s safe to say we will be coming again.
The ambiance was very classy and
