Hello so today I took a leap out on faith and tried Osas food after traveling all the way up north to my normal Nigerian cuisine (Nigerian Kitchen) which is closed on Tuesday so I saw Osas was only 2 mins away. I called my order in over the phone and it was being begged upon me walking in . First and foremost it smelled horrible inside , thank god i had on a mask . Secondly if looks could kill , I’ll be dead . She looked at me like I was someone who if she didn’t want the money would not service me as if I had did something wrong to her .I then noticed it was a fridge with bottled sodas in the lobby so I proceeded to grab one before I totaled out and she kinda sped up in front of me to prevent me from touching her fridge. I paid via credit card it’s an additional 2.00 up-charge for that . I went to sign receipts and upon completing my purchase and she kind of snatched it off the counter . I grabbed my bags said thank you and she never responded . I got to the car and opened my food and the joloff rice smelled burnt but wasn’t bad , plantines were good and the two proteins I got was fish and goat meat . There’s no doubt the goat meat was extremely old. I couldn’t even chew it . I know you are saying “Why didn’t you return it etc “ I always say this is the better way to get justice when businesses mistreat you rather then a refund in some instances . I hope this owner change the way she treats her customers in the future.
Terrible customer service they food is not covered the dry meat fish .
Had the jollof rice with beef and chicken very tasty
Their jollof don't taste wht i was expecting and there are flies flying around it was disturbing
Home for delicious African food but right now not for only Africans you see a whole lot of other races
I wish i can give this place a zero!!! The place is dirty the food taste exactly how the place looks and the workers it smells like roach spray and the service is horrible. I am sure that only friends and family are giving 5 stars. The young waiter is very rude. I felt horrible because my boyfriends Nigerian and I couldn’t eat their food he also thought it was so disgusting so he understood why I didn’t eat it I got a to go box and threw it straight in the garbage but if you’re looking for a good Nigerian place that’s amazing there’s one in Schaumburg Bisi restaurant when i tell you their killing it so fire
