Was making a run for a friend. Got lost for a minute but finally found it. Expected something larger but it was cool. Nice, quaint. Visited Lexington Betty Smokehouse, one of three restaurants. I ordered a small rib tip & link combo. I order for my friend who was jonesing for good barbecue. Didn't take long for my order to come up. Got it & it smelled divine. My regret was that I didn't get one only because I was invited to dinner later ?. My friend loved it. She didn't eat it all. Saving some for later tonight. I think I might be back up there tomorrow. They have Majani's Soulful Vegan Cuisine & AndySunflower Café as well. Plenty of tables to dine in. Gotta give it 5 stars because it's the only food hall on the southside (I think).
I don't know the name of the food places inside. That was our 1st time there. There are 2 places to buy food from, and the one in the middle, you can buy different drinks like teas n lattes. They are black owed. ❤❤❤. 1 serves Vegan foods, the other 1, you can order soul food from. I went with the soul food. I ordered rib tips, baked beans and yams. My husband ordered something for himself and our daughter. It was pretty good, but the portions to me, where to small for what we paid.
Marjani Restaurant is one of three inside the food court. I love the bowl with sweet potatoes greens hot water cornbread... A little bit pricey but when I'm all vegan once a week this is one of my favorites places.
