The best restaurant I have ever been too. The service was excellent. The food was so fresh, flavors and textures I have never experienced. I would go every month if I could get a reservation. I couldn’t have imagined how amazing the food was going to be.Thank you Chef Sangtae for allowing us to join you for dinner it was spectacular.
The best sushi I’ve ever had in Chicago. I lived in Tokyo and Kyoto for years and really struggle to find authentic, fresh sushi anywhere in the states. BUT Chef Sangae has done it! The tasting menu featured a delicious progression of flavors and the specials were just as good. 10/10. Also, the ambiance and service are impeccable. Obviously it’s a very delicate dining experience. I went alone and it felt very warm, inviting and it was great to watch the Chef work.
Really nice little omakase place for dining serving only 6 seats per seating. This offer a very close feeling among friends dining there. Food is good. The value and quality of food is great considering the price fewer than $200. I recommend it to anyone wants a quite dining place and wish to bond closely. This place also offers a buyout option but the price per person would be around $250. You may consider it for team bonding event.
Awesome. The best Japanese cuisine I have ever had.
Omakase Yume created a wonderful evening out. As we walked in to this tiny restaurant that initially appears plain and unfinished, we were rapidly welcomed and seated at the pre-assigned seats with our names. The simplicity rapidly translated into easily accessible close-up experience of Sushi with beautiful presentation, tasteful menu and presentation, and wonderful service. There are some add-on options, and I recommend to try them, even though the Wagyu experience was not the highlight of the visit. I think it's just fun to complete the experience at this unique place with some options that don't add significantly to the final cost. I truly enjoyed the experience, and hope to come back.
Omakase that made me leave with mixed feelings. On one hand, the fish quality was quite high and the rice was cooked perfectly to my taste, with noticeable amount of vinegar which did not overpower the fish flavor. On the other hand, I would describe the experience as quite “commercial”. There are three sittings of two hours, which means the chef is really rushed to serve the courses: fish is pre cut and all the courses are made for all the guests at the same time. They don’t tell you where the fish is from and the interaction with the chef is extremely limited in general. We ended up eating 15 courses in under 70 minutes, which felt way too fast paced and didn’t allow me to appreciate the flavor of each piece to the full extent. In terms of style the omakase was much more on the contemporary side. There were a lot of modern combinations, some of which were interesting but some used quite blunt flavor combinations often encountered in Nobu style restaurants. The service was attentive but didn’t feel particularly warm.
Unforgettable experience! Its one of the best meal ive ever had in my life. Whenever i dine in here - their five star taste give me motivation to work harder so I could eat this master pieces every week haha 6 stars!!
Nothing I can say can replicate the experience that is Omakase Yume. Chef Sangtae Park's skills are a sight to see and his food is some of the best I've ever had in my entire life.
Best omakase experience I've had. ❤️ The staff was so so kind to let me have a second bowl of the ebi miso soup.
One Michelin Star Omakase Sushi restaurant. Everything is excellent, subtle taste but not missing anything. Simple presentation and ingredients; however it's very impactful.*** Checkout & follow Insta @mrakusuma for more recommended places to eat. ***
