I would rate this as 4.3 stars. The place has this really cool vibe with its rich dark wood interior and bar. I also like the entrance-way that feels like its a “tucked - in” corner, though along a busy Wells Street straight-away. I visited for brunch right when they opened. I ordered the Mothers Little Helper which had creamy cheddar grits with pork belly and sausage. The egg, though stated as fried, is actually over-hard. The plate was very good, but I like my eggs over-easy, would add a nice silky texture on top of the slightly stiff but tasty grits. The meats was salty, fatty and nicely pepper flavored. The staff is very nice and friendly. I will need to visit for dinner to try their main courses. But overall, a very nice Old Town neighborhood staple.

Best selection of local Chicago drafts for Happy Hour I’ve ever seen. The staff is outstanding and food is great! Highly recommend.

I ordered the “Let it BLTE” sandwich for brunch and asked to have the bacon on the side for my sister since I don’t eat meat. Waiter said the cheesy potato casserole isn’t cooked with chicken broth either ? All of the food was fresh and delicious! I ordered a taster size of the local cider, Blossom, which was pretty nice as well.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Old Town Pour House yesterday, while we attended the art fests in the area. It was the perfect place to sit down, have a meal, and a few drinks. The food was delicious, the service was stellar, and the atmosphere was super fun! Even though it was very busy, it didn't feel like it because of how well managed the place is. George took very good care of us and clearly has the place running like a well-oiled machine. Can't wait to visit again. This will definitely be our go to every year for the fests.

My brothers were in town and we wanted a great brunch place where we could still talk. This place was not too loud like others on a nice Saturday morning and we enjoyed the drinks and food.

Great food and service!!

Enjoyed the Sunday Brunch! Our server was very personable and attentive and knew the menu items well.

I went there this past weekend, one of the busiest times of the year- Memorial Day weekend. The staff was very very friendly even though they were busy and short staffed. Our server, Jessica, was patient and very nice. The manager, George, came to our table a few times to check up on us and appreciated our patience as well. He was on the floor to assist other servers and customers, and was very professional. The food was delicious and so were the drinks:). Will definitely recommend and will be going back.

Old Town Pour House - Chicago has a very classy environment with a traditional American feel! The presentation of the meal was quite formal and I was well taken care of my whole visit. The bartender was very attentive and helpful when I had questions! The service from start to finish was timely and everyone I interacted with was friendly. Will certainly be back and recommend for those in the area!

Went for an engagement party where the groom-to-be had reserved a number of tables. The hostess and manager were both incredibly rude the whole time, demanding we stay away from nearby tables despite our large and growing group, all of whom were being responsible, respectful, and spending money on an easily coordinated single tab. I attempted to get a reservation for the nearby tables to give us room to expand the group and the hostess was incredibly rude and demanded that I could only have my reservation in a completely different part of the restaurant despite the restaurant being nearly empty. She and the manager absolutely refused we use the nearby tables because “they needed them for the other guests” - however the restaurant remained half empty the entire time we were there. It was an insane and ridiculous experience, terrible service, and I won’t be back.
