I swear they have some of the cleanest tasting food in Chicago, and their juices and coffee are seriously some of my favorites. It shows that they put effort into their food, creating everything from the ground up, and getting the cleanest tasting ingredients they can. Also, they’re one of the nicest families I’ve met in the city. I’d heavily recommend their hummus with Kefta, and the arayess, as well. Their lamb based dishes are fire. Very reasonable prices, too, especially considering the quality of the food.
The tabouli is absolutely fantastic! Hummus is yummy yeah and the falafel really well done. You can even ask any of this to be without dairy. Lots of meat for the meat platters but the vegetarian platters are even better!
Really could not have been any more perfect for my day. Exactly what I wanted. The hummus was beautifully done. The falafel was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The fresh vegetables were indeed fresh and the pita was soft and pillowy. It was immersive: the only English I heard was when the matron was taking my order. Very authentic. Thank you.
We ordered for delivery. Both the grape leaves and the tabbouli tasted as if they were beginning to spoil. I would not order food from this place
I’ve lived nearby for years, but haven’t had a chance to try Old Jerusalem until tonight. The food was great! Tender and flavorful beef shish kabob and good fluffy hummus. I’ll be back!
We came here for lunch on a fairly cold day and it was absolutely freezing inside (really felt like the heat wasn't on at all). That made it difficult to really enjoy the visit and while the food was good, it was not great. Hummus and baba ganoush were kind of bland, the falafel were good.
My husband & I enjoyed a very delicious lunch here. I had the Greek salad topped with grilled kefta. My husband had the chicken kebab with rice & side salad. Everything was so fresh & flavorful. I doubt you go wrong with anything in the menu. The service was excellent. We will definitely return the next time we are in Chicago.

Food was tasty, service was good as well.Owners were friendly! Affordable place with reasonable prices.We ordered Shawarma Sandwich, Shawarma Wrap, Falafel, fries, Baklava and Kanafeh.Would recommend this place if you're looking for middle eastern food and in the area.
