My friend and I tried this place randomly but were both very satisfied with the food and the ambiance of the place. We both had the all beef platter with the ribs, and i had the chili and coleslaw sides. I also ordered the brownie with banana ice cream. I have no complaints whatsoever about any of the food that I ordered, and would definitely make this a regular spot. Great place to go chill with some friends or a chill date night. The sauces are also fantastic, and if it weren’t against my conscience and not legal, I would have stolen a bottle of every single one of them. Also, our server Maria was great and super friendly which is always a huge plus for me.
I was craving ribs and this place was the right place for it!Loved everything in my plate!Corn was delicious- not hard , not soft. It was perfect.The waffle fries are amazing!Service was great. Amazing! Visited here last weekend after a volleyball tournament and wasn't disappointed! EVERYTHING is AMAZING! Firstly, the team at Offset BBQ is amazing, always checking in, and took time to show us around the menu.Appetizer: Wings were so great! Very well made and loved sampling the sauces.Entree: Sampled the pulled pork/pulled chicken and a few of the sides. All hands down were amazing, no stand outs. And couldn't choose a favorite over the others.Sauce: Not much of a sweet sauce fan; but this had a unique and delicious taste.Thanks again for an amazing meal!
Last time I came here, I'm so satisfied with their food. I had an amazing lunch here. And yesterday I came here again with my friends. There are a lot of people when we enter and we can see almost any vacant seats. But we were lucky that some customers at one table finished eating. So we sat there but no one staff cleaned it immediately. We call one staff member and point out the mess. He immediately cleans it and sanitizes it. Then we ordered our food. It was easy to walk here since the spacing was huge. It took just a minute before our order came.One dish that I liked was their Smoked Lamb. It was so good and delicious. The meat was so soft and tasty. It was pretty good to taste. If you ever come here, try this dish. My friend also likes this.
This is hands down my new favorite restaurant! Chicago has some really good food, but I’ve been struggling to find good bbq since I moved up from Texas a few years ago. Not anymore. The brisket here is some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Also do yourself a favor and get one of their homemade ice cream sandwiches. I tried their key lime and strawberry flavors and it is the perfect dessert!
I needed to write a review of this place because they deserve it. The Brisket is second to none (and I live by SmoQue)! Great corn on the cob and brisket chili too! The Owner/Staff are incredibly friendly (the owner knows what I want when I walk through the door and I hadn’t been there in two weeks)! I have to try the ribs one day because I can only imagine how good they are. Keep up the great work Offset!
Will be coming back here soon. The food is all insane and I want to try more. Friendly service and good choice of drinks and beers. I wasn’t expecting such good bbq in Chicago but this spot didn’t disappoint.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? this is the best restaurant I've been to in at least 6 months. ❤️ Everything is well seasoned, the service is impeccable, super friendly staff, spacious seating area. Try the cauliflower mac and cheese and ALL of the meats. My husband loved the chili as well!
The food was amazing. We had the platter with brisket and pulled BBQ chicken then tried every side. The corn bread is a delicious unique flavor, the elites comes with an amazing creamy sauce, the very cheesy cauliflower came out piping hot and gooey delicious, and the coleslaw was creamy without being overwhelming. The only thing here that even compares to the food is the staff. Maria gave excellent recommendations and unparalleled service. I would highly recommend the food, the staff, the atmosphere, and listening to Maria's recommendations. 5 ⭐ all around.
Came on a weekday. Met the owners. Had the vegetarian burger which was awesome. My wife had bbq said it was great highly recommend.
