Beautiful room. Wonderful sushi, including the salad with famous matsuhisa dressing. But v pricey. So for people who donât live in Malibu, special occasion only.

Excellent restaurant, service and food. We were a bit upset in the beginning as they gave us a table right at the end even though 50% of the restaurant was empty. One doesnât expect these subtle signs of racism from a restaurant of this caliber. However, they moved us once we protested and rest of A-mazing. Highly recommended! Phenomenal food
We had the BEST experience! Royal was our server and selected a tasting menu which was absolutely amazing! Royal was so attentive and personable. The entire staff was awesome- canât wait to come back
I was completely underwhelmed, felt the exact opposite when the bill came! Took my son out for a birthday lunch as heâs a huge sushi lover. Bland and ordinaryâ¦we left it up to our server to suggest dishes. Among the rolls was a Philadelphia rollâ¦.câmon! We told her we liked heat, no heatâ¦.spicy, no spice. I felt like I was having supermarket sushi in my HS library. The portions were ridiculously small and the bill ridiculously expensive. I donât mind paying for booshi but this was anything butâ¦donât waste your time and definitely not your $.
Sushi dishes are excellent. My favorites include: lobster tacos, tuna hand rolls and the scallops and eggs. We went all out and tried the specialty dishes they are known forâ¦all were very good but none really blew me away as need to come back for more. Black cod and miso, good but not a special dish. Rock shrimp good but not special. Wag yu dumplings good not special. Yellow tail and jalapeí±o very good but our favorite among the specialty items was the Tiradito. I will happily go back, but will stick to sushi, tacos and the Taradito.
Fantastic food & service. We opted to go the route of the curated menu and it was an incredible selection of their best items. Great for a celebratory dinner.
Mediocre food with horrible service. Don't waste your time and money going here.
Excellent food as usual. First time at this specific Nobu but they had the classic must gets. Thought it was a bit better than the Vegas location. Service was top notch.
