Nini's Deli was an awesome dining experience. Before I went there the day before I called to see if they could make a vegetarian sandwhich and the owner was super cool and said he would be able to make something special for me and my girlfriend and described what he would make over the phone which sounded delicious. When we arrived he remembered the phone call and the sandwhich was even more delicious than I expected. I had the cafe con leche which was strong but sweet. We also had fried plantains and the guava jam/goat cheese empanada. Everything was amazing, I highly recommend!!!
Perhaps my new favorite place to eat in Chicago. This place has the most wonderful food ever and the people are even more wonderful!! So caring and friendly, and they love God and love ALL people. This is a freedom-loving business with the best Cuban food!
I found out about this restaurant through one of my best friends and let me tell you, their Empanadas are off the chain. Since I didn't live close to their restaurant I placed an order with ubereats. I ordered the Empanadas which came individually wrapped in a paper bag sealed with a cute sticker in pink my, ?favorite color. How cute is that?! The chicken Empanadas are delicious/with the sauces and the lemonade drink is refreshing. You have to try their Guava and goat cheese Empanada, oh my goodness! Thank you Nini's Deli! This place is amazing ! I was a little hesitant as I am not a big Cuban food fan. But they have converted me! Food was great. The empanandas were so tasty! The owners could not have been more friendly! They are steeped deep in their Christian faith and beliefs! I support EVERY they are doing. We live 40 mins away and we definitely will be going there again to support them!
Amazing place with unbelievable food. You feel like family over there and Juan really loves his customers & what he does.You can tell this is a true passion for him. Loving people, loving food, and making everyone feel welcome. Empanadas are amazing, especially the guava & goat cheese one. And coffee. ?????
I’ve never seen a restaurant love people so well! Every person that walks through the door at Nini’s is seen and treated with respect. Blown away by what I experienced. All are welcome at Nini’s.The food was incredible! The coffee delicious! The guava cheesecake is amazing!
All I can say about this place is that they are definitely great and definitely one of the best spots where I could find delicious deli sandwiches and more. This tiny spot in noble street has various selection of different foods that I was able to explore and I highly recommend their kitchen sink sandwiches but before that this place is just seriously a great spot, it is a usual small spot selling good food. I've been to the place for a lot of times actually and it is always clean and the vibe is kind of pretty chill and casual. The staff in here is friendly and they even gave me recommendation when I went here for the first time. For the times that I visited this spot, I have tried and explore their menu but I would say that their kitchen sink sandwich is the best. It is a sandwich with a huge portion and generous amount of meat. It is just so good that I would never get tired of ordering it each time I would visit the place. Their chicken empanada is also good that I always love to order for sides.
This was my first time here and it was a great experience. Where do I begin. Let’s start by the look of this establishment. Very clean,comfy,and just an wholesome vibe. The menu is short and simple. I tried quite a few things today on the menu. The Kitchen Sink,the cheese empanada with guava jelly. Come on what a combination such a smooth empanadas. A order of churos and a lemonade. I highly recommend this place. The owner Juan was very helpful in explaining the menu and he even brought the food out to us. The food was presented very well and just made the experience just that much more enjoyable. I left with a full belly,a smile on my face,and satisfied that I have again found another local gem ? with Nina’s Deli. This is by far the best restaurant I have ever ate at!!! My biggest pregnancy cravings for both of my babies??. They have the best customer service, the owner always has a smile on his face no matter the day or time rain or shine ?. I’ve been coming here for the past 6 years or so ? *Chefs kiss*. Looking forward to the years to come! My favorite Is the kitchen sink (no egg) XTRA SAUCE on the side ??
If you want to enjoy some awesome food along with an authentic, friendly, caring family environment, you MUST visit Nini’s Deli. Juan is the real deal and is a truly wonderful person. His family business serves up great food. The Kitchen Sink sandwich is the bomb and the empanadas are out of this world.
