Excellant tasting food, and I was a Sous Chef at Chez Paul in the early eighties . I totally know my mixtures and taste relation! This establishment has it together. God Bless the retired Fireman and Police officer! There is no better tasting Rib House around the South Side than 911 ! GENTLEMEN the rib tips are heavenly!😊
The ribs, coleslaw, beans, sweet potatoes, corn bread, AND mac and cheese are sooo good! ❤️When I picked up my ribs the meat fell right off the bones! They had the right amount of sauce with great flavor.And their Mac and cheese!!! It might be the BEST that I’ve ever had!!! ?Ten Stars!!! Definitely going to be new regulars! I’m so glad that I saw it and told my husband to stop! ☺️
So here’s the thing, I’m new to the neighborhood and drove by here after grocery shopping. I’ve driven a couple of times pass this place and never seen it. Today as I drove by my wife saw this BBQ place and decided we should order lunch to go from here. I was not prepared for how amazing the food was. We ordered the ribs, Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, and cornbread. When I tell you the food was amazing…wow. The ribs were falling off the bone, amazing flavor and sauce. The Mac and cheese was cheesy and flavorful, the sweet potatoes were great, the cornbread was slightly sweet and not too dry. We were given a small free order of baked beans, again, we didn’t order it but OMG…I wish I had ordered a large one. The beans were on point. I’m not sure who cooks all the food but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Lord himself helps out and blesses the food before cooking it. I will most definitely be eating here again, especially since it’s only a few minutes away from my house. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. 5 star rating, easy.
Nice little barbecue place food is good when tips are fall off the bone and their collard greens are awesome, the cornbread is done just right would recommend if you like barbecue.
We used them to cater a 35th anniversary for one of my bosses, he was excited to have something other than pizza. The food was good and hot. I highly recommend this place. Just stop by and order a plate, you won't be disappointed. You can sit and listen to some awesome music why you wait. ENJOY
I'm not a huge BBQ fan but my boyfriend is, and when we moved we noticed 911 BBQ right around the corner and wanted to try. I'm so glad we did, it was delicious! The bf says it's by far the best BBQ he's ever had. He always get a full slab, and I love the brisket. Food is made fresh daily, so if you don't get in early in the day brisket might be sold out. No phone orders, as it's usually just the owner working and he bust his behind. Super friendly, welcoming atmosphere. I'd highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

Consistently good and tender ribs, everything is good here. Perfect smoke flavor with just enough seasoning. The sauce is perfect. I came in early today and now I see why they sell out sometimes. This place is pushing food out like McDonald's. Keep up the good work. Love my cobbler too
First time customers and we'll be back! Everything was delicious! Haven't had barbecue this good in a while. The brisket, ribs and chicken were all tender and falling off the bone! You only get this quality of food in the south; my family is from Louisiana. Hope to see more locations in the future!
Phenomenal food! Used Nine One One to cater our employee holiday party this past month and was so impressed with the food and service they provided. We ordered a spread of food from them and all of it was delicious! Additionally, the level of customer service they provided us was awesome.
