This restaurant is one of my favorite places in San Francisco. It's super tasty clean, healthy and the portions are good too. Not to mention the service is very polite and if you go there often they'll remember you. I order so often I tend to get take out but when I have time to dine in I thoroughly enjoy the ambiance and my experience. It really sucks that this place has been closed ever since the beginning of the pandemic. I cannot wait until it is operating again.
Good food let down by poor service. We went in, ordered and paid for three dishes to take away - one starter and two mains. After waiting close to 40 minutes and watching people who arrived after us finish their meals, we were given our takeout, only to get back, open it and find only two dishes - no starter. Such a shame, as the meals we got were actually very nice, but the wait and not getting what we paid for left a sour taste.
The food was excellent, all made from scratch. The saag paneer, naan, and vegetable dumplings were so good I forgot to take a picture of them before eating ? So here's a picture of the delicious dessert pudding.
Very great customer service and the garlic naan with butter chicken curry was a great combo!
My friend and I went here for lunch today and the food was amazing, they even gave us complimentary chai tea because of how cold the weather has been, I definitely recommend this place, very friendly staff. Will definitely be back?

One of the best Nepalese cuisine in Chicago
I would give them zero stars if I could. I ordered a $190 catering tray of Chicken Tikka and they didn't follow the directions and gave us a tray of bland chicken. It just had some heat and lemon flavor. Nothing even remotely like Chicken Tikka. I order it from Nepal House all the time and it's delicious. This was nothing but some chicken breast with a little cayenne and lemon powder. It was also dry to the bone and very tough.
The lamb vindaloo is outstanding. I had it with garlic naan and some chai tea. I will definitely be coming back. The service was excellent too.
