We're visiting from Boston and my partner described this place as the Chicago Clover. We got the nachos and the fried green tomato sandwich and it was entirely too good to be coming from such a chill, lowkey venue. I wish this was in Boston
I loved the food can't wait to take the whole family we all enjoyed our first time together as well see you soon
Honestly, as a carnivore I do not understand how their food is SO GOOD. 10/10 recommend everything on the menu, especially the oatmeal cookie sandwich. The only reason I didn’t give 5/5 stars is because the food is hit or miss in quality. Always good, but sometimes it’s phenomenal.
This location had more options than the downtown one. Great food for vegetarians/vegans. Big space, not crowded though! And the cookie place across is also great!
The food quality here isn’t the same. I order the chicken bacon sandwich & cauliflower wings taste like trash. This place use to be my favorite vegan restaurant not anymore. The vibe and everything is totally different now maybe due to Covid
Very cool concept. However, it’s not well-run. Takeout orders seem to be disorganized, and They refused to offer a refund on a stale product they accidentally served.
Got their Orange Cauliflower delivered and was delicious, photo doesn't really do it justice. The sauce on the cauliflower was great and paired well with the fried rice.
Love this location! Such good quality. I got the chicken bacon avo club and it was really good compared to the same dish at other locations.
This place has really gone downhill in recent years, ever since the chain was sold to private equity firm in 2018. My partner and I have been going to Native Foods since we lived in Los Angeles and there were literally just two locations. (I actually have an original Native Foods cookbook signed by chef/founder Tanya Petrovna, who we ran into at the Palm Springs location in 2002!) We have so many great memories of eating at Native Foods over the years, but lately it's been just disappointment and frustration. Ever since the buyout, this place keeps using cheaper and lower quality ingredients, offering smaller portions, while inching up the prices. Add to that very inconsistent/lackluster customer service (I don't blame the employees—they often seem understaffed and undertrained), it's no wonder that we find ourselves going here less and less often. There are still some solid choices on the menu, and we will probably still grab some takeout here from time to time. But our days of going to Native Foods as our "go-to" fav restaurant are long gone. Much prefer Chicago Diner, Upton's Breakroom, or many of the other places in town that now offer vegan options.
The buffalo cauliflower wings and the gastropub burger are so delicious. This is the perfect vegan junk food.
