Well-known chicken establishment in downtown Chicago. Varieties of peri-peri chicken dishes like sandwiches, bowls, and select weights of chicken are served with the ability to customize how spicy you want the chicken. Sides include fries and rice - nothing too out of the ordinary. Pleasant but sometimes busy atmosphere with ample seating.
The food is good but not great. I have eaten here 2 times. Do I ever crave this restaurant? Nope. Do I ever remember about it? Nope. The only time I go there is when I got visiting my doctor. It is right there and is convenient. If I could I would give this place 3.5 stars.
In the past I have always enjoyed Nando’s but the customer experience at this location today was inappropriate and unacceptable. The restaurant closed in an hour upon arrival and we were told that we could not sit in the inside dining area and had to order take out because they were closing. Despite the multiple staff members who were standing around not working or socializing the food took a significant amount of time to come out and over half of the orders were incorrect. We were then forced to eat outside with a large amount of other patrons, despite that it was rainy, and they even demanded that we not throw our our trash in their trash cans and use the one outside for the plaza. Then the employees came outside again to tell us that they were closing another hour earlier, so now closing 2 hours earlier than the posted times online AND in store displayed for absolutely no reason. It was a sufficiently busy store that was forcing their customers to have an awful dining experience simply because they did not want to work or wanted to go home early.
This was my first time visiting a Nando's. I mentioned this to our host(ess). We dined Friday evening and I did not catch their (her?) name, but received such great service.Though they are currently encouraging ordering through their app, since I said I hadn't eaten there, they brought back a menu to go over with me. They explained the spice levels, the different types of dishes, their recommendations, and they were kind and funny. My spouse and I appreciated the extra explanations.We couldn't get the app to work ordering the chicken burger for some odd reason, but we were able to order at the counter with no issue.The food was brought to us and was phenomenal. I ordered the chicken burger with mango lime season level to start, but I'll probably go up a spice level next time.In addition, the manager walked by twice while we were eating and checked in briefly, which I would not have expected in a laid back dining environment.We went in here on a lark because the nearby restaurant we planned to try was too crowded and I am so happy that was the case!
This restaurant’s chicken is really one of the best. This place is definitely one of the restaurants I saw that has a nice interior just like the one this restaurant has. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, enhanced by those amazing works of art on its walls. The place is really lovely. Their staff are also lovely because they are nice and friendly. The restaurant is full. They have a wide variety of options on their menu. Another thing I love about this restaurant is their menu, which has a variety of options from different cuisines, and that is just really good. The service is somehow slow. I just ordered a chicken breast with fries and coleslaw. No kidding, their chicken is really the best. The chicken is full of flavor from the skin to the bone of the chicken. It is also tender, and it just definitely melts in my mouth. It is also spicy and it really gives an ice kick. The spiciness is added to the flavor of the chicken, which makes it even better. The fries were also good, as was the coleslaw. Prices are fair and reasonable, and the food in this restaurant is just seriously delicious. Their chicken is one of the best and the one you must try.
I love Nandos and as always the food was so delicious. Only thing I feel like could of been better was the extra sauces by the foundation drinks. I wanted more sauce so I grabbed the medium, it did not taste like the same sauce like what was on my chicken it lacked flavor and the heat of the usual sauce. I went back got the hot instead and it was a dud too. The sauces tastes like they been sitting there for a long time they weren't good at all. But other then the extra sauces, the food was great very tasty and hit the spot.
I tried the chicken skewers and I have to say they were just simply delicious!! The flavor of the grilled chicken and veggies was way better then I expected.. with a side of mashed potatoes and corn on the cob...forget about it!!!
We visited this restaurant for the first and very last time. The online ordering was difficult to use, but no one at the register would take our order. Our food arrived cold and our canned soda to share between us arrived with one of the glasses dirty. We returned the dirty glass but a replacement was never brought back to our table. Chipotle is much better than Nandos.
I obtained three quotations before selecting Nando's PERi-PERi to refinish, restain floors and install new baseboards. What I most appreciated was that the person who provided the estimate was the person who actually worked on the floors -- Joseph was on the site working and supervising every day. Also, Joseph worked with me to ensure that I would be happy with the floor color, as this was most important to me and we had some challenges getting just the right stain and, making repairs to older hardwoods and accomodating my crazy construction schedule. This company is serious about customer service and the floors came out beautifully. I do not hesitate to recommend them.
A great platter of wings. They don't overwhelm you with the size of the wings like other places, but they do with incredible taste
