Amazing Mutter Paneer and Chicken Briyanni. Better Dine in!
The Goat Dum Biriyani was excellent. I ordered the Chicken Tikki Masala and Chicken Gosht to go (I have food for the next week)! It was my first time having Indian beer - the Taj Mahal is smooth and tasty. I had two! I’ll see you when I see you Devon Avenue!
Fantastic food and service. Chowdary was our server and was so attentive and kind. Food was able to be customized with less spice so kids could eat it. Would highly recommend.
Namaste is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The food is very freshly prepared. The Chana Masala tastes like fresh tomatoes were used, rather than canned. Their dishes are always very bright and flavorful. My favorites are the lentil daal, Chana Masala,l, and vegetable samosas. Vegan, vegetarian, and dairy free options are clearly labeled on their website. It’s so good!
Food here is great - the saag paneer is real tasty, especially if you ask for it spicy (but only if you really like it spicy because they don't hold back). Real winner is the owner Mr. Khagendra Ghimire who went above and beyond helping out me and my partner after we lost the car key while picking up dinner. He could have blown us off but he did everything he could and eventually was the one to find the key! ? Don't hesitate to support this local business and the good people inside. We'll be back soon!!!
What we got was bare minimum flavored, canned tomato based curry, into which they had dropped some roasted chicken. This they called chicken curry with nepali spices. It was such lazy cooking. At least cook the chicken in the curry. This is just sad. Getting tired of restaurants presenting stuff like this as South Asian food .In reply to the restaurant's message below since it looks like I can't reply to them: yes, it was the chicken curry. The curry we got from your restaurant most definitely wasn't one where the chicken was cooked in it. The flavoring was pretty bland as well. Maybe you had a different person preparing it that day?
My favorite dish from this spot is the shrimp tikka masala. Lately they have been reducing the amount of shrimp they give you. So you’ll get one large container filled with mostly sauce and like 4-6 shrimp inside for $17. This is the only reason why I’ve taken a star off the rating. Other than that customer service is good. Would highly recommend.
Great food ..more of a nepali take. The Momo's were awesome. The service was friendly and very good. Definitely a great place to go back to in Logan square
Soooo good, I'm so full still and it's been hours since we left ? everything was amazing!
I recently moved in the Logan Square neighborhood and came here for my first meal in Chicago. Namaste Chicago serves simple, good quality, and tasty Indian and Nepali food. It was the one of the best I've eaten outside. The goat curry, tadka dal and saag were great. Nothing too spicy, or too oily. Just the right balance and authentic. Loved my meal here, reminded me of home. Will be ordering again.
