I ordered veggie bowl they gave me chicken
Dont ever go there for lunch. They serve the left over food from the night before. If you go there go later in the evening . If you go for lunch look very carefully at the food before you purchase anything .The hummus, looked old brown and crusty,the lettuce was very brown around the edges and old looking. The steak was from god knows when. The only items that were fresh was the pickles and pitas. On God!!!
The food is fresh and good..their falafel is my favorite, there is however particular workers that skimp you on meat and other toppings. I love that they cook the steak on the spot but the last time I ordered a steak bowl they made me like 5 tiny pieces...for a meal that I'm paying round $12 to $14 for. Also, there was a time I came in and a worker was putting fresh food on top of a pan of old food... I thought it was a golden rule to put the old on top so it would go out quicker, it obviously didn't throw me off enough to stop coming but there's certain things that should be monitored and changed.
Was one of my faves. Quality gone down. Staffed by lazy, uncaring "children". A slap in the face to REAL Mediterranean restaurants. Only close to mediterranean food available to those who look like me. Shame, in 2021, I still have to go out of my neighborhood just to eat healthy. And this is all there is. So very unsatisfying. Less than zero rating given but not allowed.
Wow. So fresh and juicy. I ordered the chicken shawarma bowl and 4 falafel. Soo good. Quick and friendly service. Make it a point to stop in. Located in the plaza next to fedex on Canal St
We’ve been here a few times at dinner recently and have had a good experience. Food is always hot & fresh. The team seems to work quickly to fill orders, glad to have it in the neighborhood.(Side note, they don’t seem to accept AmEx)
The food was ok but the service sucked, the woman acted as if she didn't want to be bothered with taking my order.She also didn't ask my sauce preferences and told me nothing about them when I asked and charged me $1.60 for 2 little plastic cups of sauce which should have been free IMO considering my meal was $11 bucks.I will not go boack.
very disorganized and long wait time, it was empty and workers were all in the back and food was dry and cold. workers were trying to not be rude but they were, and the manager heard me bringing up my concerns but didn’t seem to care . don’t get me wrong, they are kind people but just not too motivated or enthusiastic to work. the lady was probably uninformed or was too lazy to tell me there was the rice option included in my classic bowl, now i have only sauce and cold meat to eat. Not to mention it was super salty!! I went back in wondering if I could get rice added and they said I’d have to pay for the side. I don’t mind paying extra for the rice, but to know that I wasn’t informed and they didn’t take responsibility for it was saddening. i had naf naf in the suburbs and was really excited to come here, but this was just a huge disappointment. I ended up throwing my whole bowl away and went to panda express next door, i genuinely hope you guys do better.overall, good people, bad service and food
