Every time we come to back home to Chicago , my husband and I have to stop at Ms. Biscuit. The pancakes are my fav! They're mosit, fluffy, golden brown, and cooked to perfection.I'm reading the reviews and I'm totally confused as to why people are saying their food was burnt when they ask you would you perfer your food well done or crispy. PEOPLE please stop asking for CRISPY and then when it comes, it's not the crispy you cook and you write a garbage review.EVERY business is understaffed, therefore it's going to take longer, it's going to need to be cleaned, they'll get around to it when time allows. I simply DON'T understand all of the I'm trying to support a black business and blah, blah, blah, when you can go two miles north and experience the same thing, only difference is you'll somehow "understand" the situation. If you haven't tried Ms. Biscuit please do! You won't be disappointed.
Finally my first time eating here. Great food and service. Will most definitely visit again!
Absolutely loved my breakfast and I look forward to my next visit. I just wish that they will return to servicing the tables rather than packaging food in containers. Food was so delicious I didn't mind the contract.
Great food. Great Customer Service and Charming Atmosphere. Event space for rental. Please visit you will not be disappointed. A Bronzeville gem.

On August 15, 2021 I called to ask if they could handle a group of 20 for breakfast....I was assured that they could. I advised the lady that we would arrive at 9:30 am. Which we did. We placed our orders at the counter at 9:45 am. I had to check several times to find out what the delay was.....Now in all fairness to the staff, there was1 person behind the counter and 1 cook. But you told me that you could handle this when I called. After about an hour of waiting another counter person came and another cook.....it still took another hour before we got served(11:45) and some of the orders weren't correct.. My husband who paid for the food (397.00) didn't get his order until we were walking out the door!!!!!! You (owner) need to do better than this! This is the exact reason that some won't patronize black owned businesses! While the food was good (when we got it) the portion sizes have shrunk while the prices have increased....3 years ago I gave you a great review......Please delete it. I nolonger endorse your restaurant!
Didn't realize they had been reopened since March. Food is always amazing......a little pricer than other local spots....but the food is def worth it. They are understaffed at the moment but you can still fine in. You just have to come in the main dining hall and place your order, pay and have a seat. All good served in to go boxes.
Great clean atmosphere, breakfast was hott and delicious ?? Food served in to-go containers even while dining in because of Covid.
