I like this spot, and it definitely has one of the best sandwiches I could find here in the area. The place is just a simple and small place, but it is true that you should not judge the book by its cover, because no matter how it looks, I was really surprised at how good their sandwiches are. My friend recommended this place, and it was my first time visiting it. I am a fan of steak sandwiches, and that is exactly what I ordered. The customer service is great. It is quick, and the people inside are very nice and friendly. Also, they do not have many options on their menu. The steak sandwich is fresh and hot, and it is also huge. Overall, it has great flavor. The bread tastes fresh, and it has a nice texture as well as the steak. I just cannot explain how good it is, but it is so good that I will consider it one of my favorite spots for food in this area. The steak sandwich is also reasonable, and it comes with well-seasoned fries, but it was a bit soggy for me.
Fantastic Steak Sandwich and extremely tasty beef sandwich as well. All sandwiches come with a generous portion of fries and all are excellent!! Highly recommended.Parking is difficult because of all the business they get but we'll worth the wait.5 ? 's ?????
Came straight here after landing to get a steak sandwich. The owners were very nice. No frills about this place, but it doesn't need them. Seemed like everyone who walked into order were treated as family. Great foos and big portions. Cash only

I have been going to Mr D's for over 10 years and the great quality and great taste of their burgers still remains. I also believe Mr D's has the best fries in all of Chicago.

Some of the best fries in chicago! Still need to try the steak sandwich, but the shish kabob sandwich is great. Also great for a quick hot dog and fries.
