I am a food critic and inspector from another city. I came to this restaurant to dine with my family and the first thing that I noticed were the women bathroom was disgusting tissue all over the floor, bad odor coming from the bathroom and they were not even busy,, but we should have left then but it was empty and so we stayed. The woman that served us was polite. She took our order without a notepad and kept forgetting things with our order. When we got our food it was dry and bland. The owner walks around like he is God almighty when he needs to run his restaurant. They didn't even have bottled water to offer us or a glass of water at all. I don't know why this place has 4 almost 5 stars. It should be shut down. Please do not eat here, waste of time and money.
Came for a first time on a staurday evening and had the pleasure of meeting bartender Jai. She was very helpful and had great customer service! Made me feel at ease and comfortable. Will be back!
They have an Open Mic every Wednesday night 7-close. Always some great talent that comes through! I had their burger and beer special, they put their signature sauce on the patty. Sooooo good!
The food was amazing. The Mac n cheese was ?
New manangemente now, seemingly good service and female emancipation since from the servers to the Dj were women/girls except the bartender. Although I did not stay any longer, it looks like Trey is keeping up the good work done by Jay, the previous manager.
This place is expensive with meager portions. Paying $30+ per plate and they can't manage to remember including jerk sauce for their dry a** chicken!! Rice and peas were overcooked also?
I really had mixed feelings about this establishment. The drinks were ok, the food was ok. I guess you got to get there when they first prepared the food.
I got a beef patty and a chicken patty and coco bread to go. I walked home in the cold so the food wasn't warm when I got back so I can't judge temperature but the food was otherwise good. Tastes just like the only other time I had Jamaican patties and coco bread (which was in London). My review is based on this. They provided a pretty spicy jerk sauce with it, which helped add some flavor. I've heard someone say it was bland (the chicken more than the beef, perhaps) but I don't think it was any different than the other time I had it at another place. So, again, I can only judge on my experience. It seemed nice enough inside. This is more bar than restaurant, with a small stage for live music, and a decent amount of tables. The place seems to appeal to a variety of people do I don't think you'll feel out of place no matter who you are. I've also read reviews about bad customer service or unnecessary long wait times when it was not busy. They didn't take long to prepare my food and they seemed nice enough so I don't know where that came from.I went there at 6pm on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy.
Great ambience, amazing food, the music was banging!!!!! Great energy ??For drinks, I looooved the gin nā ting and the sting!!!!!
