Finally ventured outside of our west loop restaurant bubble to come here. Really enjoyed the imperial rolls and the chicken wings. The Brussels sprouts were nothing special and really, shouldn’t they be special if ordering at a restaurant? The crab rice was good, not something I’d enthusiastically order again. The standout though was the garlic noodle with shrimp, which didn’t come out with the rest of the food and we’d forgotten we ordered; our plates were already cleared when it arrived…so we took it to go. Overall, an enjoyable meal

Across the street from a Lowe’s, it has the air of a loved, fully booked local eatery. Very vibey and energetic space, with a cosmopolitan crowd.Self described as Asian fusion, that covers any influence from India onwards so sure, it’s Asian fusion. Still, I think it’s overly accommodative to an American palate, and Mott St has a lot of potential to push the boat out further than they currently do without losing any of its local eatery accessibility. Don’t expect to be overly challenged, or as if you just ate at a street vendor in Ho Chi Minh City or Seoul, then you’re good to go.Don’t get me wrong, it’s an awesome space, great vibe and good food so definitely go, just keep in mind that it’s a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant, not Michelin starred, and what you should expect is a “simpler style of cooking, which is recognisable, easy-to-eat and often something you feel you could attempt to replicate at home. A Bib restaurant will also leave you with a sense of satisfaction, at having eaten so well at such a reasonable price” … and that’s exactly right.

I’ve come here a few times over the last few years, and this place does not disappoint. The food is always top notch, service is always amazing, and I always enjoy trying different plates every time I come here. Some of my favorites are the oyster mushrooms, pork belly, and Thai tea cheesecake. This time around, I tried the whole fish with my family, and we devoured it. So fresh and the sides it came with were delicious!!!

I’m born and raised in Colombia. And burgers are so full of flavor there. This being said. If I don’t do them burgers myself I don’t find flavor in any I have tried before since I move here, but ✨ BURGERS ✨ is all I have to say. But check the other fabulous dishes they offer. 50000000/10 bomb

The fusion is pretty good, many of the dishes are very creative and fascinating. However, some of the dishes are slightly sweet and too buttery, wish it was a bit lighter. The atmosphere in the restaurant is decent and enjoyable. I think it is a good restaurant that if you are around, you can visit.

Oyster mushrooms plus garlic fried rice combo was excellent! Also like the Brussels sprouts. Great cocktails and customer service. Would go back!

This place deserves 10 stars! Check out what I ate via the photos below. Outstanding service. The flavors were like nothing I’ve ever had.The fire chicken was out of this world. It consisted of the essence of kimchi flavoring but more complex with additional flavors. This was my favorite dish.I ordered apple cider donuts topped with a caramel miso sauce and OMG, they were incredible!Be prepared to spend a pretty penny, but I assure you it’ll be worth it!WOW!

This restaurant is definitely one of the best Asian restaurants I visited so far and also the particular restaurant that I would not forget because I definitely love the overall experience the food, the service and just basically everything about this place. We were a group of 6 people when we went here and it is my very first time. We were able to have a seat as soon as we get there I do not know if my friend had a reservation but we were seated right away. The place has a nice and cozy atmosphere. We order a lot of foods because their menu got a variety of different Asian foods options, the prices are somehow pricey but it is still reasonable and the portion sizes are fine. Service is quick and the staffs are friendly and attentive. I wanted to start to their garlic rice which is definitely the best garlic rice I had. Second, is the grilled asparagus which is quite good and of course their pork belly which has a nice texture and well-cooked with a delicious sauce. Lastly, are their mussels which comes with a really big spout and seriously the mussel is so good but the soup on it was just full of flavor. I would recommend any of their dishes because every dish they have has something special to it when it comes to their seasonings and flavor. Their cocktails are great too.

We missed the crab brain fried rice from their pre Covid days and decided to try our luck getting a late table. Very happy they were able to sit us at 9:30 pm. All the dishes were yummy, but a bit expensive during these inflationary times. Mussels for $30. The crab brain fried rice is no longer on the menu, but the server said they can still do it. Sadly, it’s not the same with no crab goo at all, just canned crab meat on fried rice for $30. She should’ve told us they don’t have crab brain fried rice which was different and much better, cos we would’ve just tried their garlic fried rice for about $20.The missus ordered an old fashioned. We were charged $20 for a premium old fashioned. Again the server should have asked if she wanted a premium one when the missus just wanted a regular old fashioned for less.We will not be back at Mott, unless they address this ridiculous habit of upcharging their customers without their permission. This is a very dishonest business as far as I’m concerned.

Mott St is located right on the corner of Noble Square in a quiet neighborhood. They have ample outdoor seating for the summer months but a very nice interior design/vibe.This restaurant is an Asian fusion spot that has a flare of classic but innovative dishes. I ordered their Mott burger, while I really wish they served fries at this establishment it was a delicious burger. Very very tasty. Their fried rice was bland and flavorless. I added the everything sauce from the wings to the rice just to give it some flavor but even then it didn’t help the rice too much. The wings were decent, they tasted like any other wing you would get at a restaurant. Overall, I would come back to get the burger again (FYI they stop serving the burger at 7pm sharp, no exceptions) but I would have to bring my own fries.
