Had read the previous good reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Looks nothing from the outside, don’t be deceived, great service and great food and amazing choice of ales if that’s your thing, would recommend

Tim was absolutely amazing yesterday on St.Patrick’s day. We never had to wait for a drink, he was very attentive to ALL of his tables, and super nice. It was very crowded and not once did he look like he was overwhelmed. You can tell he loves his job. He is by far the best server I’ve ever had!

Cold sweet potato fries & a salad that was supposed to have mixed greens had romaine lettuce only... I should have just gone in & thrown the $24.59 on the counter & walked out... So freakin disappointed & I'm so hungry.
Great selection of Belgian beer. Enjoyed a cup of their tasty chili. Warmed us right up on this cold Chicago day!

We love Monk's!! We've been coming here for years and am so grateful they survived through the pandemic!! The selection of Belgian Beers and craft beers is INCREDIBLE!! And the menu and food served is also wonderful! The interior and atmosphere is cozy and the staff is super friendly and super knowledgeable. I'm telling you, if you love Belgian beers, Monk's is a MUST, you WILL NOT find a better bar anywhere close by that has such a fabulous Belgian beer selection. My only complaint...it's not closer to my home. ? Thank you guys! Keep up the excellent work!
