The service wasn’t great to begin our dining experience. The waitress initially seemed surprised that we asked about vegetarian food and then was unhelpful in finding items that we could eat. The food was good. There were some dishes that were better than others. Overall, a decent restaurant in the heart of Chinatown. Not the best for vegetarians, especially for those who don’t eat eggs.

Very good food, quick service, but know that food comes in order it is ready so be prepared for eating in stages. Great variety of dishes and pleasant decor. Nice drink offerings too. Green tea provided at outset. Portions are large so don't order the 1.5× size unless you have a large group. Sunday afternoon seems to be a real busy time - if going then, get a reservation on their website. We bypassed a large crowd and were sat immediately with a reservation. Good COVID protocols.

Stopped by a couple weeks ago because I wanted Chinese dinner at late hours. The food quality was definitely a lot different than what I remembered. In my opinion, MingHin is a good place to introduce people to Chinese food. They have a great variety of options to choose from. I however prefer to have more traditional Cantonese style. Their popular item on the menu was orange chicken. I was a little disappointed after my dinner there. Everything we ordered was very bland.

The Beijing duck is crispy & juicy , delicious. Shrimp spring rolls are good. The bao bun is out of the world, had it first time. And the fried rice is tasty with huge portion .Definitely recommend it.

My husband and I loved most of what we ate at MingHun Cuisine! We chose mainly from the Dim Sum menu to get the most out of our experience. It's so easy to go overboard - we ended up ordering way too much food! Each item came with three servings. We began with the Deep Fried Jumbo Sesame Balls ($5.25) and Regular Sized Deep Fried Sesame Ball ($4.65). Get the Jumbo ones - they were a hell of a lot better! The bean paste was perfectly sweetened and they were delicately soft, unlike the small ones that were definitely overdone and rather tough.BBQ Pork Buns ($5.25), absolutely phenomenal. Generous amounts of meat in a super fluffy light bread.BBQ Pork Crepes (or Rice Rolls, $5.95). Growing up eating these at Singaporean hawker centers I didn't find these to be authentic enough for my enjoyment. The "crepes" or wraps were slimy, not a very pleasant feeling for my buds. If I were you, skip these.Baked Creamy Egg Yolk Bun ($5.75). Absolutely delicious, this worked out perfectly for us as it came in the middle of our meal when I was just about ready for something sweet. The filling was super rich and cake was not super sweet which balanced out with the cream filling.Spare Ribs with Black Bean Sauce ($5.25). A generous amount of meaty bones in a delicious sauce! If I'm really feelin' the need for trip down memory lane, this is what I'd get. I'd eat this religiously as a teen. Lots of bones, so you may want to skip if that's not your thing but you're missing out in my opinion.Cream Cheese Rangoon (4 for $5.25). Of course, my very American husband couldn't say no to these. I didn't try but he loved them.Someone in our party ordered the Bean Sprout Soy Sauce Chow Mein ($9.25) from the dinner menu so we got to try a little of that. It was pretty good, a great dish for a vegetarian.Additionally we ordered two flasks of sake ($11.50 per flask). I’m not sure of the maker but it was great!I totally wished I had more room in my stomach for more food but at this point I was well beyond stuffed. There were so many more item I would have loved to eat! This is a great place for large groups, the more people the more food to order and try! I would definitely return.

Simply Wow!!!!One of my favorite most memorable dining experiences in Chicago, right in the heart of Chinatown. Where can I begin to describe how unique this place really is. The combination of rich traditional spices and flavor is unmatched. Dim sumPlease come with a local friend if you're not Chinese. *No seriously*Unfortunately, I'm not.But was very luck to have a friend take me there and teach me new & exciting dishes I probably would never have the courage to try on my own.你好Nǐ hǎo

Given its popularity, crowded Sunday afternoon was expected. It was probably the most crowded setting I’ve been since the beginning of this pandemic. Despite such large crowd, the orders arrived promptly without any error.Overall, most of the items were slightly on bland side. Also, the ingredients were not specified well in the menu so some people were caught by surprise upon arrival of the food. For example, someone on the table ordered chive dumplings thinking it is a vegetarian dish. When it was brought to the table, we discovered that it actually contained pork. The service is great and its Chinatown location is quite convenient.

Amazing Chinese food, great flavors, and something for everyone. My favorite is the pineapple chicken, which has fresh ginger. Good variety, Cantonese dishes as well as fresh seafood. Nice atmosphere and pretty decor. They gave us a tablet to order on, plus regular menus. They have a good ginger vodka cocktail.

Can't imagine a better place for family meet up on new year day. It is within Chicago city yet away enough from tall buildings to give a warmer setting. On occasions you might wait much longer for some orders to arrive such as beef stake in my case but also on time for other foods. Anyhow there's nothing to lose. The rooms are large and fairly spaced for covid (don't know if intentionally arranged) but appears so.Something to watch out for: the hot beef stake on their menu actually taste sweet and felt disappointed. One would imagine their menu will indicate if sweet than spicy but at the end I have enough to eat and don't have to worry a lot about that.

This place is very authentic and they have menu items for everyone's style. We had the beef string bean and added garlic it was very delicious we also had the rice noodles those were excellent. We have the fried octopus super delicious recommend ?. We also tried the smaller items which were all perfect . I highly recommend this place if your around Chinatown!
