We lived in Asia. We miss the "real" food, the "weird" dishes. Oh yeah bring us some baby octopus (not fried), ... This place brings food that feels as authentic as possible in the US. Texture, colors,.... so many dumplings,.... Too bad Chicago is 6hr away!
I’m not an Asian food lover but this place was very good! The food was awesome as well. The portions are to share. Those are huge!Prices are good as well.I highly recommend this place!!
We were hungry and in the mood for Chinese food. It was also about a 5 minute walk from our hotel. Our soups and egg rolls were very good. The general TSA chicken was a generous portion and it tasted good. However, the chicken pieces were much too large. Service was good, but cold and impersonal.
Favorite dim sum restaurant in Chicago. Everything is consistently good— I liked their siu mai particularly. Prices are fair and lots of seating available
While out in chicago. Me and fam decided on some Asian food. This place had decent reviews so we gave it a shot. It was plenty of space for indoor dining. The ordering was done via tablet. The food was brought out pretty fast. And everything was delicious. The portions was very good. The one thing I personally didn't like was the non alcoholic and non soda selection of drinks. But besides that it was all good I definently would reccomend this place .
Beautiful ambience, excellent food, quick and efficient service by the staff. It started with complementary jasmine tea. Then they gave us iPad to add our orders. Both the drinks and and food were served within 30minutes. Loved the veg fried rice and shrimp chowmein. Lotus seed paste buns were amazing. We waited 15 minutes but it was worth it.
Still one of the best Chinese food options around the Millennium Park area. Come in here for a good dim sum, service and ambience.
Our Dim Sum was good-really tasty good. Food came streaming out; as others have said no real rhyme or reason to what table gets their food when. Whatever is ready at the moment is served hot. Only a few tables in the front have a downtown view. To the staff's credit, they seated my party of 2 at the only table with a view that was available--didnt even have to ask. We really enjoyed our meal but we didn't get much input/interaction from staff. For us, not a problem to order on an iPad and not really have to say a word-to anyone. A waitress collected our iPad, then the drinks and food made its way to the table over the next 30 mins. We collectively ordered 6 items and finished most. 90$ tab after drinks and tip. We left full and happy. Right on MingHin!!
Came across this lovely hidden gem on a nice Saturday walk with fridays :) beautiful decor & clean, you order on a tablet which they take once you've completed ordering. Plates are LARGE, definitely a shareable size. They sell milk tea with bobba, or fruit smoothies with bobba. Will recommend this place 100 times over :)
Everything we ordered was fantastic, except from the curry baby cuttlefish. The service was a bit lacking. Would definitely recommend for authentic dim sum!
