Had the agua de jamaica and a huarache. The huarache was bursting with flavor. It was so fresh tasting and had many layers. One of the best I‘ve ever had.The jamaica was mild but refreshing. The pasta straw was the best I‘ve ever used. Didn‘t know it was pasta but felt good to know it was eco friendly.Service was kind and informative. They helped me with my dietary allergies and provided a thorough description of the food which did its complexity justice.

Everything was perfect. can’t believe it took so long to come here. the broccolini was to die for. the shrimp was the best i’ve ever had. steak burrito was the best burrito i’ve ever had, and the birria ?????i love this place!

By far the most mind blowingly flavorful food I’ve had in in Chicago. The quesobirria was so good that I was upset when it was over. The chicken thigh taco was gorgeous. Everything was simply bursting with flavor. The tres leches was the best I’ve ever had with a unique twist. The only miss was the duck (too salty) but I didn’t even mind because I was so happy and full from the other dishes. The restaurant has a very cool casual vibe. I will be back for sure (we were told the menu changes frequently).

Great service and drinks! Our table ordered the enchiladas potosinas and repollo enmasado. We were excited about the take on classics but unfortunately we found the food to be way too salty.

I have to say that this was an experiment for me and my wife. Also a TOGO order. So you have a point of reference, I am well traveled in CA and Mexico plus I am a culinary graduate. The Burrito's are over priced @ $25.00, for what you get, ingredient wise.. the meat was of good quality but lacked seasoning, no sour cream, little beans, avocado and the caramelized onions were totally missing... and I mean non existent. The place was overcrowded and noisy, just too much; maybe OK to certain people but if you are looking for authentic Mexican this is not the place. I have no idea how a Michelin Star was awarded.. this is not my first rodeo and I was not impressed.

Celebrated my wife’s bday here and it was a great experience! We ordered the chips and salsa, broccolini en nogada, oyster taco, steak burrito, and the queso fundido con Birria. Loved all of it! I had the plata plomo cocktail and my wife had the margarita. Even got some complimentary bubbly for her bday!

Service was friendly and informative. Amazing spin on Mexican food. Saucy and rich tacos were fantastic, but the queso fundido was out of this world! Will repeat.

Can't think of the right way to start this review other than LOVE. Mi tocaya truly embodies what it means to stay true to your story and your art - the staff were kind but not overbearing, it was loud but in a good way and the food was beyond my expectations (which were high!). So pumped to bring family and friends back to a place that feels like a slice of the chef's heart on a plate. If anything i recommend skipping chips etc and just dig into the rest of the exquisite menu!

One of the best Mexican upscale restaurants in Logan Square, Chicago.Original flavors, amazing service. ESTEFANÍA was kind and served us with her heart.Highly recommended!

Fantastic meal!cannot reccomend Chef Diana Dávila and her food and staff enough. We will be back!
