Good fresh fish, seafood, sausage and fresh chicken at affordable prices. It’s been on 71st and State Street at least 50 years. Always crowded but the wait time is minimum. Metered street parking.
I was there on Wednesday June 15 I was in line but as soon as the doors open the workers were ready to helpHave been coming there for almost 50 years with my mother when it was call salt water market on that strip. all my family have kept coming here even the ones that live out of state they come to stock up on every kind of seafood. Workers have changed over the years but the service is great the place is so crowded but fast service. Only thing is that I witness for the first time was the "street people" be all in the way begging and talking up space! Im sure that will be corrected, yesterday you all was to busy to notice. I love the place and i tell everybody! Dont ever close!
I love this Place. I come from the South Suburbs just to buy all of my fish & seafood there. The parking sucks at times but the food is all good ?

Fast efficient friendly, courteous service no matter how crowded not to mention their LEGENDARY choice of sea food.Do expect elevated prices due to inflated prices on EVERYTHING these days!?
I shop here for my fish quite a bit. However they can be a little bit better servicing people. Sometimes the people are rude who service people there. I think they sometimes maybe take the community for granted.It's a very busy place.
Nothing better than this! Especially when you see who's eating all the fishes up, and have decent eating habits. A great place for fresh meat without question!
