Man when I tell you you Chicago has excellent food ... I was visiting from out of town and my cousin said let's go to market fish they have excellent fish and I love steak catfish and that's what I ordered and it was so delicious and fresh everything was excellent the only thing I hate was that the guy forgot to give us well should I say give me my coleslaw because my cousin didn't want coleslaw guess he assumed that I too did not want any coleslaw. We were able to get our orders and just before they closed and the grease was as if they had just changed it I'm just saying just thinking about that catfish as I'm writing this review is making me wish that I had some leftovers or could just run up the street and go and pick it up The employees were excellent very friendly and efficient One even helped a elderly woman that had a handicap to take her food to her vehicle and I thought that was very kind very encouraging to know that they are still good people in the world and even employees and business owners could do something for one of their patrons that says a lot keep up the good work you guys would have got five stars if I had a guy that coleslaw and my cousin said was so excellent that sometimes she said she just goes just to get a order of coleslaw that's how good it is but I will most definitely recommend this market because I made sure to tell my cousin I didn't want that fake Asian catfish this place did not disappoint I would recommend it over and over again but also don't need too much fried food cuz it's not good for you ?
Your standard southside Chicago or south suburban fish & chicken spot. Comaprable to Sharks or J&J Fish. They all taste the same. Nothing special. This was my first time trying them and I dope particularly care for the aforementioned establishments either
I just order a medium shrimp and they so small they look like the little shrimp in the frozen food section of the store

CHARGING 17.00 FOR CATFISH DINNER WHEN I CALLED BACK THE GUY SAID IT WAS AN MISTAKE BUT STARTED TALKING ABOUT HOW MUCH IT COST THEM TO ORDER I ONLY HAD 5 PIECES HELL I SHOULD HAVE MADE IT MYSELF . YOU GUYS CAN UPGRADE TO BETTER BREAD WONDER BREAD IS OLD SCHOOL YOU'RE MAKING MONEY NOW. ?
This is the ONLY REAL FISH MARKET left on the Southside of town. I don't have any pictures but I will post some later. This is also the oldest fish market on the Southside E103rd.??❤️
As long as I've been coming here (10+) years), I never had bad service or received bad food, food is always cooked fresh.

The guy working the register has an unprofessional and nasty attitude. I’ve been here more than enough time and usually get the same thing. No informing us of any price change. And now the “meals” do not come with fries or bread lol today was my last time supporting this business.
This is my Favorite Fish, my Parents and I us to go fishing when I was younger and Catch buckets of Bluegills. Now they're called Sun Perch. The$$$ in 2019 was $5.99 now they are $7.99 I bought 15 of them yesterday cost me $30.00. They were Fresh And DeliciousThanks Mz Lydia ??? This is the only Fish Market that I Like It shop at for this fish.Mz.Sand
