Great beers, great cocktails, great company. I'm personally a big fan of their robust barrel aged stouts which are typically hard to get a hold of during the winter time because it's usually sold out. They used to have a kitchen to have food available but it closed during the pandemic.Dog friendly patio, and the taproom menu can be found online. Very limited seating inside as the taproom is quite small
First time here and so glad we finally did! Made it just in time to snag a seat but spot was pretty packed with about 75-people (I asked the door guy). So nice to see patrons take home cans or liquor. Always had their Son of Juice but this visit, tried their Mr Shakey (Milkshake IPA, Strawberry) - absolutely delicious! and their Fat Pig (Oatmeal Milk Stout) - very smooth and not super-heavy! Will be back to try their cocktails.
We stumbled upon this brewery and we absolutely loved it the beers were amazing and the staff made it extra extra fun. We especially love that it was not a huge place it was more of a crowded local neighborhood brewery.
The friendliest beer/spirit tenders around! The atmosphere was really great, neighborhood bar vibe. the beers are tasty and so are the spirits (which is how they ended up on so many best breweries in Chicago lists). The beer tenders (specifically Jamie and Ashley) were amazing. They made great recommendations and shared great tips for an out of towner visiting the windy city. Definitely a spot not to miss on your visit!
Christina gave our group of 4 a great tour. She was super informative and so enthusiastic! Her interest in brewing was contagious. Love it!
One of Chicago’s best breweries! Always great service and friendly staff. They constantly have new beers to try and usually announce them on their instagram page. Good for hanging outside or inside, and both for small groups or large. We came right before Christmas and enjoyed the decor and seasonal eggnog.
Chill environment with nice lighting. The nitro stout beer was tasty and had good flavor. I tried their whiskey which I believe was named after the ingredients used in their stout. It was just ok. It tasted like it needs more time in the barrel. Hopefully in time, this distillery comes out with a more mature whiskey.
Top-notch beers and hospitality. Wish the staff was a little friendlier, but you can't win them all.
Fun twist on an Old Fashioned using an oatmeal milk stout. Relaxed vibe.
Fantastic beers and cocktails. Great lounge vibe and nice outdoor area.
