Located in Block 37 building on State Street side, this New York bakery in Chicago is pretty awesome. Its signature red velvet cupcake is as good as advertised. But chocolate cheesecake is a must for anyone who likes rich dark chocolate. What they call icebox is essentially cold versions of pies and key lime pie versions of it is strongly recommended.This place isn’t cheap. But it is a great treat very once in a while.
Yo, the vanilla cake from this place was fantastic. I’m usually not a sweets person, so I didn’t anticipate myself finishing the entire slice. But I did! The cake was the perfect density, and each bite brought a slightly- but never overpowering- sweetness to my palate. Now I gotta go to New York and get an actual slice from there. I’d skip on the drinks though. My Chai latte wasn’t very good.
incredible place to eat your dessert after a long day of walking in downtown chicago. the banana pudding is the star of the place, you MUST try it. I hope you enjoy like me!! I love all the other options.

Did you know they do more than bread pudding and vanilla, perfectly frosted cupcakes? The marshmallow on top was house made and they offer cookies and other confections too
We enjoyed this bakery so much, we went here 3 times during our week stay in Chicago. Loved their carrot cake and especially their carrot cake pudding - also enjoyed their banana pudding - their Hummingbird Bird cake was good but we like the carrot cake better. Highly recommend!!
We're looking for some shops that sell cupcakes for my baby's birthday. Some of my friends recommend this shop. She said that she liked the cupcakes that she bought here last time when she ordered. I had no work to do yesterday and I grabbed my opportunity to come here. I ordered one cupcake to taste if it was delicious. It has an icing on top. When I bit it, it was soft and yummy. I can really taste the sweetness and the chocolate of the cupcakes. I like this taste. So I ask the staff that I will ordered 3 box of cupcake. Each box has 12 cupcakes. I told her that I will pick it up tomorrow. The staff were nice and she gave me freebies.
Delicious Banana Pudding. We even indulged in a slice of Double Chocolate cake that was awesome too. There are a few tables inside to dine-in and the crowd keeps moving fast.
Their banana pudding is legendary and this location did not disappoint. Don’t make the mistake of getting a medium like I did, just get the large banana pudding, you won’t regret it.
Literally ran into this place ? visiting from out of town and I liked their cupcake. Got a couple other pastries and I have to say that I was very pleased with everything, and the hot cocoa definitely helped because it is freezing here for my Floridian self ?
