If you’re looking for great crab legs/ sea food, for a great price, this is your place. Just wanted to mention that our server and food were amazing! The servers’ name is Krisha. Also, best seafood boil I have had in a while. The portions impressed me for sure. Not sure if I’ve been skimped out in the past on portions at other places, or what. I’ve never been full on crab legs before until I visited here. Spicy is actually spicy so, don’t underestimate. Not too busy of a place and is casual, so dress code isn’t an issue.

If you are looking for “mussels”, this is worth to try. Honestly I had the most papular“ mussels” with mad sauce. So fresh, tasty, good portion and reasonable price. I didn’t try the rest of their menu

Had the snow crab legs boil bag with lobster tail. It was meh?. They overboil the crabs- too soft to crack. They don't clean the crab as you can see the nasty green stuff n the cottage cheese looking white stuff on the legs. The fries were good. And what all suck they add automatic 18% gratuity regardless of the party size (it was just two of us). The place has potential but its not there yet...especially compared to other crab boil spots in Chicagoland.

Best seafood boil I have had in a long time! Absolutely killer!!

Lot of seafood boils in Chicago, but Madison Crab House is hands down the best. The food tastes amazing, and it's still reasonably priced. Staff is always friendly and attentive as well.Don't be afraid to order takeout either because you still get the same great quality seafood.

Mussels were good, crab was average crarfish was average. The Cajun style wings were really good the fried shrimp basket was really good. Tried there gunbo was average. Really cute place to go out on a casule date for. Service was amazing, fast and easy.

Didn't have the best experience. I informed the waitress/bartender my mussels were undercooked and she didn't take the food back. She informed me because they are fresh and not frozen as if I've never been there before or had mussels before. Unfortunately the tip is included. I left here feeling terrible. I wouldn't recommend based on her service.

Madison Crab House in Chicago's West Loop neighborhood serves spicy Cajun seafood and perhaps the best po' boy sandwiches in the city. Located at 1045 West Madison Street, between Aberdeen and Carpenter, it is open from 12:30 to 8:30 Monday through Thursday, 12:30 to 9 on Friday and Saturday and 1 to 8 on Sunday. Cajun cooking has become very popular in Chicago of late. Have you ever tasted a Louisiana-style po' boy sandwich? Po' boy is a Louisiana staple that varies from restaurant to town but, typically, a classic po' boy includes toasted French bread stuffed with some type of fried meat or fish or shrimp and is dressed with tomatoes, romaine lettuce, pickles, mayo and a generous spread of hot sauce for a Creole kick. Madison's version of a shrimp po' boy, my favorite, consists of Cajun-seared fried shrimp, shredded lettuce, tomatoes and mayo served on a baguette and slathered with zesty remoulade sauce. On our recent visit, my wife and I also enjoyed bowls of chicken and sausage gumbo and clam chowder, fries and coleslaw. My wife feasted on a fish po' boy with whitefish, tomatoes, lettuce and cocktail sauce. We also recommend the lobster roll on toasted garlic bread with claw and tail lobster meet soaked in hot butter and Cajun seasoning. At Madison, the calamari also gets good reviews. Other seafood includes crawfish, catfish, oysters, mussels, clams and crab legs. And a full bar to quench your thirst.

Been here 3 times now, love this place! Affordable & delicious seafood and friendly service. Definitely try a seafood pasta or fried rice and get the Cajun fries! The fried whitefish is also tasty.

We ordered the Shrimp and Crawfish combo and unfortunately it came with a piece of hair. I knew it wasn’t mine because of the length, color, and the fact that the bags were sealed well. When I called, the person who answered the phone was super nice and empathetic but when I asked for a resolution, the owner suggested I microwave it for 3 minutes which made the corn and shrimp too dry to eat. I’m not upset about the hair, because it happens, but they didn’t even offer to replace my order. I would have gladly returned the full order, hair and all. I am giving it two stars because I have eaten here before and the food is good, but I don’t think I’ll be ordering here again.
