Very cool vibe atmosphere service was great, food arrived within 10/15 mins of order, we were a party of 18, they ended up opening the downstairs for our group.

The first time I came here it became my only spot to eat lobster & crab. The potatoes the corn everything put together tastes amazing. Cajun is my favorite but all the flavors are wonderful. The deserts are delicious as well. I’ve told my friends about it & now they love coming here also. My father loves it here so a Father’s Day treat is the perfect present!

Lowcountry. The name alone gives you a hint that you're in the right place for a Southern seafood boil, a Cajun treat with all the trimmings. Located at 3343 North Clark Street, in the Lakeview neighborhood, Lowcountry is one of three locations in Chicago. The others are at 1121 South Wabash in the South Loop and the other is at 2349 South Wentworth in Chinatown. There also is a location in Milwaukee. The Lakeview address is open from 5 to 10 Monday through Thursday, 5 to 11 Friday and Saturday and 4 to 9 Sunday. Like a fish boil in Door County, Wisconsin, a Cajun seafood boil is a pot full of tasty ingredients. Start with shrimp, add garlic sauce, then cocktail sauce, then andouille sausage, red potatoes, corn on the cob, green beans and coleslaw. Start with a bowl of seafood gumbo. Sides? How about jalapeno cornbread with honey butter and steamed jasmine rice? For dessert, true southerners pass up traditional key lime pie and profiteroles and creme brulee in favor of beignets with powdered sugar. Lowcountry really has that Louisiana River Road appeal.

This was, no joke, better than the crawfish boil I had in New Orleans. We ordered the weekday special and it was absolutely worth it. I had the very hot cajun sauce and it was the perfect balance of heat and spices. The only complaint I have is their very limited beer menu, but the food more than made up for it.

I have been here so many times and have ordered take out from here so many times. Typically, it’s quite good. However, our dinner experience last night was horrible. I understand businesses have shifted their model due to the pandemic but Low Country has basically turned into a fast food restaurant comparable to Long John Silvers - same ambiance and quality of service. Yet the prices do not compare. We paid over $250 for some okay shrimp and snow crab. We asked for sauce on the side and it basically had solidified fat covering the entire top. It was disgusting. They have NO servers so you order at a counter, this includes drinks from the bar. They served our crab with plastic silverware - who does that when serving seafood of supposed quality? Also no claw crackers were given. I had to flag down several hostesses to ask for items. This restaurant used to have a fun energy with actual silverware and servers who were attentive. I will not be back which is so unfortunate considering how often we supported this location and the south loop spot.

Such a wonderful experience at Lowcountry every visit! Do keep in mind there is a weekday offer which is 35$ and the same option on the weekend is around 65$. Wish we knew this earlier ?Our order was the Double Double with everything sauce, very spicy! Loved every last bite of it ?

The food here is AMAZING!!! Not only is the food bomb, but the crew working this place is super friendly and accommodating. The vibe is also great! Check them out ASAP!!!!

Best Sauce in town !!! I’ve been going to Lowcountry since they first opened in Lakeview. Since then I’ve had the pleasure of dining at every location and one thing I can always count on is the consistency of a great spicy boil. The staff at every location is amazing. Quality seafood made just right. Staff is always wonderful, even the owner makes it a point to show face at locations and he is just as nice and welcoming ☺️. At this point I’m a lifetime customer.

One of the first times I ever visited Chicago, my friend celebrated her birthday at Low Country. Everyone told me it was great, but I didn’t expect it to be as amazing as they raved! I’m a huge seafood fan, so I was pleased to see the different options for food. I ended up doing the special that can feed two people, and I’m so glad I did. The food was perfect and has now become my go-to seafood spot in Chicago!

Han an amazing time in the Lakeview area! Not only was the food amazing but the waiters and staff was super helpful. They asked if it was our first time (as it was) and they helped us out with menu options and how to order instead of Throwing us a menu. I will definitely come back! They are kid friendly too. As the one of my kids doesn’t eat fish they have chicken wings. Food was fresh and DELICIOUS! Plus gave us a reason to stop at Wrigley! 110% worth it!
