I enjoyed Lou's Backyard.I went there with a friend of mine.We ordered wings, loaded waffle fries and a few beers that hit the spot so perfectly. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and the servers were all friendly. If you are in the area check it out.

Went for brunch. Patio was a pretty chill place, but the music was not exactly brunch ambience. Way too loud. They make you pay for a reservation, but only tell you that it's been credited on the bill. No proof...Food was average/ok. Service was average/ok.

Nice cute spot, great patio, however, had the burger and was just not it. Wings were also subpar, definitely a spot to just say you tried.

Bartenders were great, really cute outdoor space with mini fire pits. We had a great time.

Good food and drinks, try out their tap beer. Love their backyard to hangout with friends

Lou's is good for what it is but it isn't all that. Love the concept, but I think all of the recipes (especially the elotes and foie gras mousse) need fine tuning. One thing I will say is that they have outstanding beverages, floats, and desserts! Like, one of their adult floats will have your equilibrium playing tricks on you.

The vibe is amazing. Definitely a regular whenever I’m in the Chi

Malort shots are $9!! Something to consider if you’re with friends and don’t want to rack up a $500 bill… I’ve never been to a Chicago bar where it was more than $5. Feels like a trap since most chicagoans get it to cheers. Not a very Chicago move if you ask me.

Great drinks! Food was okay…. They currently aren’t serving their traditional Lou’s “ASSEMBLY” menu

This Lou fella has a pretty sweet set up. Pretty good drinks, good service, he doesn't mind if you bring your dog though if it's my friends crazy high stress beagle mix he might change that policy. Bocci ball for hipsters who want to larp as old Italian men. The food is also good though it's a limited menu.
