Walked in at around 8:30 and took us almost 20 minutes to be seen as two tables after us received service. We had a 45 min wait at Rotary Sushi but this has no wait and I would rather have waited at Rotary.There was one waiter in the area and for some reason we had a different server. Once we got I believe his name was Mike, it took another 20 minutes to get appetizers and a minute later our entrees came over. He was an older gentleman that was very soft spokenFor the following 30 minutes he came over once and had to ask the other server in the area for to go boxes and checks. The food was tasted good and was correct except I had no vegetables with mine and I asked for extra vegetables and didn’t get them and was irritated enough to not ask and the sushi was very small for 10 pieces and $17 and more like 6 pieces but restaurant was very clean.The service was some of the worst I’ve ever had and that’s coming from a former server and bartender. I ordered a sushi roll and sesame chicken and even with a tip was $40 and don’t think the experience was worth it.
The sushi was good - dining solo so I had the sampler. The potstickers were amazing (yep that was dessert). Mike was the bartender and he was great. He knew his way around the spirits they offered and was honest when he didn’t know. He wins my return business. Why don’t more people sit at the bar??
This is our favorite local Asian Restaurant. All the food is incredible and the staff is so nice! We love eating out and dining in. If you give it a try and like sushi the volcano roll is a must! Highly recommend!
The service was atrocious. My wife asked a question on the preparation of a dish and the server - instead of going to find out the answer - asked what her second option was. He never came back to answer the question and brought her the complete wrong thing (neither of the items previously discussed or chosen).He also brought her food a good 10 minutes before mine. Then brought my order which was also incorrect. Had to order my drink three times before getting it. Never solicited for a refill. Heard the same guy take an order from the table behind us, and then came back 10 minutes later saying he completely forgot what they ordered. Lol.
Update: These complaints have definitely not been addressed. Their "owner" comments on all low star reviews but email remains unanswered.Was here yesterday, have food poisoning today. Wish this place was better cuz their patio is gorgeous. Unfortunately, the food all tasted funny and made me ill. Their hosts/hostesses are also incredibly rude and bad at their job. They look at you so funny when you ask for accommodations and take forever to even acknowledge your presence.
Great place, clean, friendly, the personnel is warm welcome you and are making sure that you have everithing you need.The Food taste great, is fresh and ready realy fast! The prices are acceptable and what I like personally is that they have NO FINE PRINT wine.Keep doing what you do because you doing it right!Thank you ?
Little Wok is delicious and has an ENORMOUS menu ranging from Korea to Japan and China. Their food is a bit expensive but it’s definitely worth it! During the summer than have a really large patio with outdoor seating and the atmosphere is great?
Today I wanted to order Egg Foo Yun. I just order 6 days ago. We have ordered this dish a few times in the past and wanted it again. We called the restaurant and the woman who answered the phone claimed that they do not have such a dish. I tried to explain to her that we have ordered it before. She put me on hold and never came back. After several minutes she picked up the phone and disconnected it. I called the number back hoping it was an error and she did it again. I called back a third time and Bianca answered the phone. I told her what happened, and she just ignored me and kept asking me did I want to order something. It was kind of rude and very dismissive. I asked her for the manager, and she claimed that she was the manager. I asked her why the woman hanged up on me twice, and why is she dismissing me trying to address it with her. She claimed that the first woman disconnected the phone accidentally. I know when a phone is disconnected and when it is a hang up. When I asked Bianca about the dish, she tells me they don’t serve such a dish. So, I asked her since when and she tells me a long time ago. I asked her when. She said several weeks ago. I told her that I just ordered the dish within the last week in fact it was just Tuesday. She goes on to tell me, we were not supposed to make that dish in the first place.Understand restaurants stop making dishes, it happens all the time. But to pretend that the dish never existed and trying to treat you as if you are clueless when you are not. I felt that Bianca could and should have handled the call a little more professionally. I know in her mind she believes she is professional and handled it appropriately, but she did not.
We were treated to a meal here by our oldest daughter's family. The food was fantastic and the service was even better. If we get on Chicago again that would be one place I would like to visit.
Menu is enormous. Everything we had was excellent. From sushi, to Chinese, to Thai. All good.
