Cute hidden cafe in the south loop. Very friendly staff, large breakfast menu with many options that all sounded delicious. I went with the Toucan smoothy and the Egg Frittata sandwich. I loved both! I must mention the potatoes, they were seasoned and so good!! Prices were very reasonable for downtown. This will be my go to spot when im in the area. ??
Fun place to eat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As some of the other reviewers have said, the food was a little bit bland, but what I think they mean is that the food wasn’t pre salted. I really enjoyed the natural flavors and being able to add a little bit of salt or a lot of I wanted. Without the overpowering salt I was able to taste the flavors of all the ingredients in the salsa and on the avocado toast.The location is a little bit out of the way. Even then it was full at lunch time, but no wait.
Good service and delicious food. We recommend the Brioche with mascarpone cheese topped with blueberry compote and the Nutella banana pancakes(so fluffy and light) dusted with powdered sugar. My eggs were cooked to perfection and the herbed home style potatoes were excellent. This cafe is a great choice if you are going to the Field Museum or Shedd's Aquarium.
I go here often for my smoothies because they are very good, however, I ordered online recently and tried remove the choice of meat from my bagel sandwich. The employee said the item was already made and I could pick the meat off. I expressed to them that I am vegetarian and I have allergies that refrain me from eating meat. They proceeded to say that they could pick off the meat before delivering the food. I am unsure why they offer Grubhub orders if they do not allow any modifications. The wrap I also ordered had pieces of Avocado that had clearly gone bad (it was black) and the wrap was soaking wet. I am very disappointed with this experience, would not get food from here again.
Everything’s here is amazing and super fresh.Although most food is made to order, it comes out quickly. The owners, staff, atmosphere, location and food are great.
Small and unobtrusive, this wonderful surprise is our new "cafe benchmark", to which all future cafe's will be compared. We arrived for lunch and the service was friendly, the menu was contemporary with fresh juiced concoctions, delicious loose leaf teas, and strong coffee. The food was the biggest surprise, and literally looked/tasted like something we would expect at a much more expensive and advertised locale. My tuna melt was perfect, with a layer of sauted onions that still had a slight crunch, but the heat was replaced by sweet carmelization. My Husband's burger was juicy and tender and I swear there were tears in his eyes with his last bite. This is a place we would go out of our way to eat at again. You will not be disappointed.

Such an amazing place! The staff is so friendly, the environment cheerful, and the food amazing! Great prices and a huge selection of food and tea/coffee! Seriously a 12/10 would recommend to everyone looking for a nice cafe!
Loved my breakfast sandwich! We also enjoyed the mushroom omelet and potatoes were delish with a sprinkle of salt. Can't wait to go back for pastries next time.
Very cute and quaint space! I visited for the first time yesterday after having a difficult time finding a local coffee shop currently offering dine-in. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. I got the prosciutto and mozzarella panini and it had the perfect amount of each ingredient. They have a large amount of options for food and drink on their menu and they keep the coffee fresh! ☕️
