We are so happy Lincoln Ice Cream opened in the neighborhood. The shop is adorable and very clean. Linda (as well as the other woman who works there) is very friendly and kind. We discovered a new ice cream flavor we never had before — graham central station. My daughter LOVES it and she pops in all the time. I noticed a comment below about the ice cream melting too quickly, but we have never had this issue. It’s always been cold and creamy and yummy! The prices are fair for what you get and we always get a generous portion. I am happy to support a local business, especially one where I can tell the owner is trying very hard. Also, the little plaza just south of the shop is a great place to sit and enjoy your ice cream.
I went here with my lovely family expecting a ice cream shop rated at 4.9 stars, instead it was a 3 star ice cream shop at best. 3 people in my party of 5's ice cream cones were already melted before having a chance to take a single lick. My loving mother of advanced age actually asked if the ice cream was already melted, to which our server said "no." Follow up with, "it's just creamy." Spoiler alert: it was melted. Anyways, it satisfied my ice cream desires and had some unique flavors like pumpkin, but nothing too wild. Also, you can only pay with venmo, cash, or zelle; not a critique, just to let others know. No bathrooms, even for customers. 3/5 stars.Edit: I could see how to respond to Ed and Linda's comment, so I figured I would edit my review to provide a response. Thanks for the reply. Yummy! Fantastic variety of flavors. I've been coming for months and have tried them all. They also have Italian ice if ice cream isn't your thing. The hot chocolate bombs are fun to experience at home. Service is wonderful and friendly. A must stop.

Great neighborhood ice cream shop. The ice cream is fresh and tasty, 1 scoop is bigger than in other places (?), and the service is unbeatable. I'll be a regular.

This is honestly the best ice cream I've had in Chicago. The atmosphere is so pretty and it gets even better with the customer service we received. We had such an amazing conversation with Linda! If you want the BEST experience and desserts, you have to try this place! You won't regret it!
