This is the best place to go in Chicago. Better than All the other attractions. The staff is great, we loved them. They let us right in with no reservations and we were dressed down because we party on the move.They have a $50 bottle of Champagne they serve in a nice bucket. The owner can rock the grand piano extremely well which is an understatement for sure. Try the Old Fashioned, it’s made in such a way that will blow your mind.
The music: exquisite.The service: tonight at least, it left quite a bit to be desired.Unfortunate note: at least this evening, with no advance notice of any kind, at the _end_ of the night each person was charged $15 for the seat they sat in. Understandable? Perhaps. But the lack of warning, FYI, signage, or any other consideration for our consent to such a fee, is troublesome.In summary: were it not for the outstanding music, and the ambiance that highlighted it, I would have rated this establishment two stars. Their fantastic musicians carried the day, and I hope the rest of our experience tonight was exceptional, not the norm.

Good food, good drinks and great music! The live Jazz coupled with the chill atmosphere and friendly staff, a whole vibe! Will definitely go here again. Me and wifey had an awesome time!
Good vibe and nice service. Vintage decoration. Great music and performance! It is one of the best and most interactive jazz bar I’ve been in Chicago.Excellent foods but a bit pricey since every items are all very small portion.
Amazing atmosphere and music! Been to many jazz places in Chicago, but this definitely stands apart. Will come back soon!

So lucky we found this place! I can tell the owner is a big fan of Jazz rather than just earning cash, as he played drum with the band sometime. We bought a set on the website, $50 with full course of dinner and great music!
Genuinely one of the nicest nights I've had in Chicago. The chill atmosphere here is everything... and their drinks and food complement the vibe perfectly.
What a gem! The music on a random Thursday was great. Jazz and Blues. Great service. Diverse crowd including some clear regulars.I came back to edit this review because the $18 steak should have been $30+. Excellent. I’m from Iowa, and I know my steak. Also my bf got the chicken, and it was also very very good. So underpriced. This place is gonna blow up - get in early.
