This is a great cocktail bar with plenty of choices and knowledgeable bartenders. The vibe is great- busy, moody, energetic. Definitely worth trying!

We stopped in randomly on a holiday weekend around 9 and lucked into seats at the bar immediately. We basically camped there until closing. After a couple rounds ordering from the menu, we left it up to Annie for the rest of the night. Her knowledge runs deep and she was great at getting creative with our vague requests. There was live music and it got loud/busy, but we had a great time.If you’re looking for great drinks and a fun atmosphere, this is it.

Went here on a weekend night. Not sure what the hype is about, it's definitely not the service nor the drinks since it was impossible to order one with the slow service and the amount of people waiting to order. Live music was nice but there's plenty other cocktail bars around the area with better service.

Cool spot but I think the set up could be different. I get the vibe, but it just seemed like the people there were there just because it was a cool place to be, not to sincerely enjoy the music and the vibe. 20s and 30yr olds crowd that seemed to be trying to be a part of something. That's what I got from it. Nice band. If you're gonna allow people to stand in front of the stage, what's the point of the reserved seating (seat in the cent er are too lower) when you can't see the stage. Either use highboys and comfortable high seats or focus the reserve seating for those that want to actually enjoy the band and have the standing area behind them seated area. This way, the people seated can see and enjoy as well as those that prefer to stand and mingle. But overall nice experience.

Waited in line for 20 minutes while the bouncers let countless others enter in front of a line of waiting patrons. Finally we got inside, thinking the wait was to limit the crowding, nope! Place was packed, no open seats, impossible to get near the bar. Once we finally wiggled in near the bar, the service was so slow, and we waited another 25 minutes with no acknowledgement. We finally left without being able to try anything. There are so many other competent bars in the area with great drinks. Try a different local bar, save yourself the hassle.

Long wait (2 hours for a party of 6), but that wasn't the worst part of our experience. Ordered 4 drinks at the bar ($75). Nobody enjoyed their drinks, and this was the worst white Russian I've ever had. I should have probably ordered from their menu but the other 3 drinks were from the menu. These drinks were not worth it for the price. We ended up leaving. Space is cramped. I'm surprised this is a successful speakeasy in Chicago.

Great drinks and nice vibe. They have live music and over 50 cocktails to choose from. I really enjoyed it. The kitchen closes at 10 so get there early!

Love this bar, but not gonna lie I wish it was still a hidden gem. The bar now is packed 5 days a week, but I can see why, the bartenders are so knowledgeable and make some amazing cocktails. They have a menu of 20+ cocktails to choose from, but where this bar really shines is when you tell them what you like and they make you a custom drink.I asked for a smokey old fashioned and they whipped me up an amazing drink with some good Japanese whiskey.Come here early or it'll be too packed it's hard to get in, but you'll be in for a good experience, especially when they have live music.

Who knew a basement could be so cool!Great list if drinks that would please anyone. Good music and the staff is awesome!O yes, they have chocolate chip cookies....

I like the drinks here a lot! The vibe is definitely cool, but the wait always seems to be a hassle (end up at the busy bar) and the live music (though it adds to the cool vibe) is a little too loud for me. They also need more bathrooms; there's just one women's bathroom.
