Very friendly and helpful employees. Everything they sell has to be from frozen . Not from fresh, but Chicagoins Luv it. Not seasoned or has taste. Not sure why they like it. Now everything on the menu is A LA Carte.. one pound of shrimp is what I had $18 maybe 15 because it was the special. French fries were $4. Juice was $3. Each item came in its own brown paper bag. Ask for plates but no compartment to go trays anymore. The catfish we got was 2 pieces $20 looked like Jack fish or whiting. I was told it was good. The fish chips are ridiculous tasting and hard. Who knows what kind of fish is in them. Try for yourself but look at the menu online first at pricing. Not worth the money when there are fresh crab restaurants everywhere now with different seasonings.
I love Lawrence's shrimp. It is the only thing we get when we come to Lawrence's. If you like breaded shrimp you have to try this shrimp. The staff was friendly and our food was ready pretty quick.
Simple in and out. Not as busy as the Original one on Canal but same food. 1pound of Shrimp and fritters are my go to. 27 bucks .

I have been a customer of Lawrence's for years, when I was told of this location, I was excited....I drove from Indiana. great location, very clean store and rest room.....but the customer service DRY!!!!....no smiles.!!!..nothing DRY!!!....I ordered the fish chips and huspuppies...I'm sorry different taste, missing something....sorry, but I will be driving down to canal from now on.....plus on my way out a man stopped me asked if it was my first-time there, I answered yes, and he didn't seem pleased with his order either....it's three stars for me...lacks personality and taste.
The service was fast and friendly. The fish was hot and crispy just the way that it should be. I was pleased with that. The negative was that the fish and shrimp were flavorless. There needed to be salt or something to add flavor. I'll give it another shot
? OBVIOUSLY nothing is perfect! I have 4-stars because they TRY to be friendly and professional & it’s Always clean and quite for the most part! Missing 1-star only because I did experience and so attitude from a “young girl” of course, & I only had half of what was supposed to a FULL pound of Cod bites, but I think with more attention & training from her manager she can improve like anyone else who tries!REMEMBER…..workers are ONLY as good as their Management & Training so keep that in mind?

Dont even want to give a star. Sad when 7 people go in after me and leave before me. Customer service just sucks so bad. That's why I go on canel. My fouth time here all times we so bad. Need new management. Just wanted my $42 back. Never again??
