First, this place is adorable. From the grassy frontage to the koi tub, to the garden out back, this place exudes charm. The server and cook up front were super friendly and helpful in making the right burger choice.But the food. That's what y'all came to find out about right? The burgers were well sized for the price, the toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the truffle fries were divine!!!Part of me wants to review this place poorly just so it doesn't become to popular for me to get a table, but that wouldn't be fair to the people who have worked so hard to make this place so good!!
Nice burger, nice fries, nice atmosphere, nice location and staff. Surprisingly fast turnaround at 12:30pm, sometimes you need to anticipate the meal.Flame Burger: Not a lamb patty but will suffice as a go-to burger in Chicago for now. Tangy and flavorful without tomatoes. Will request medium-well next visit.P.s., Inflation caused a sticker shock after taxes.
Where can you get a good Philly cheese steak sandwich outside of Philadelphia?Right here in #Chicago at at Lawn RestaurantThey have a great philly cheesesteak sandwiches with a savory and sweet sauce that is delicious.We had both just the sandwich and a combo with fries. It is well worth it to get the combo as the fries are also delicious. Next time we will try the truffle fries!They also have 9 different burgers, we want to try the mushroom burger!It's BYOB so you are welcome to bring your own drinks of choice.It doesn't look like much from the outside in the front, but step inside, go to the back, and it's a whole nother story.The decor is so cute and eclecticThere is indoor (with a footed bathtub filled with fish) and outdoor ( a nice patio with a long ping table) seating available with lots of plants all around. I'm sure this is a favorite spot on a warm summer day or night.They do have an adjacent parking lot that is free, however, there are no signs posted.The owner is Ukranian, and, there is a flag on the front of the building.So come and support this Ukranian owned business and have some great food in a fun atmosphere!
The online ordering for restaurant pickup is super easy, and doesn't incur tons of charges. The meals are really filling, and every component tastes great. I'm used to impossible burgers being the forgotten child of the menu, but they put in a great effort into making something delicious on its own. Plus, the fries are amazing.
There’s a lot of this to say in this review, in addition to a laid-back atmosphere in the interior and a beautiful outside, the people who work at the establishment are friendly and welcoming. As if we were a high-profile guest, our staffs are courteous and helpful, and they treat us as such. They know what they're doing and they are really good at it. There are a number of different burgers to choose from on the menu. I particularly enjoy their Big House Burger Combo, which contains 100% all-natural beef and is topped with homemade BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, and bacon. It's a delicious combination. In addition to my personal favorites include the truffle fries with parmesan, which are both tasty and cheesy at the same time. I've had a pretty great experience here, and although the food here is a little more expensive than your typical burger, I believe it’s worth the money. The fact that you're here is a delight!
Looks like a nice place from the outside so figured I'd stop in. Took a burger and fries to go. It was room temperature by the time I got home (my fault) but it still tasted pretty good.The inside of the restaurant is kinda cool. I would like to eat inside once it's safer to do so.
Visited last week, came from CT , such a great experience. Very nice place to go , designed and renovated by owner Roman . Delicious and handsome hamburgers & warm atmosphere. Highly recommend it
The burger was good but stick with a single unless you have a hearty appetite. I ordered a double thinking they were thin patties but they were massive. I couldn't finish it. Will definitely try again but sticking with the single next time. Fries were pretty good as well.
Very cool place, I would have rated it a 5 but there was a hair on my food. Accidents happen the guy with the long hair should have been wearing a hair net.Either way I didn't care too much hair on food builds character. Cool place guys!
Fantastic spot. Dog friendly. Hidden gem patio. The best place in the area to grab a bite. If you go to Wendy’s or Burger King instead of stopping here, you are a piece of sh!t
