Delicious food!!! Enjoyed the hot tea also!
1st time visit, food was average at best. wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all Service.....the worst I've experienced in a very long time. I've actually had better service in a Taco Bell drive thru
This is a small restaurant. They definitely have dishes with a spicy kick. We ordered Singapore rice noodle and dry chicken chili. Unfortunately it was very dry, spicy and we were missing a gravy dish. It was just the most popular order. The service is ok. They said they don't have alcohol but we saw them serving beer.
The food here is very good. But be careful in dealing with the restaurant otherwise. Two weeks ago, I placed a delivery order through their website, paid and everything. Forty-five minutes later, they called saying that my location was too far and that they were cancelling my order. Leaving aside that I'm only a fifteen minute drive away in Chicago, they shouldn't have let me place the order to my address in the first place if it was outside their delivery radius. This delivery issue on its own would have been annoying, but fine. However, they never refunded my credit card for the cancelled order, despite telling me on the phone when they cancelled that they would do so! I took them at their word, and only discovered that they hadn't done so two weeks after the order. When I called, they had no clue what I was talking about. It was only $30, but still, very disappointing. I won't order here again, just on principle.
My daughter went to this place once. Ever since then, it has been our go to place for Chinese. Everything is always fresh. The portions are perfect. I have even ordered from them for large groups for work. Everyone loved their food.
I’ve loved this chain since they opened. If you order delivery directly from their site, disregard estimated delivery time. The delivery driver will call, wait for it. They’ve always been busy for delivery. Reasons why I used to only eat in or pick up. No car and I wanted good food. I’ve never been disappointed by their food. Since they opened. My oiliest item leaked oil to the bottom of the bag but didn’t affect my quantity or quality of food. So maybe place cardboard in bag for durability.
We sat down for ten minutes and finally had to ask to order which was a bother to take our order. The entire order was gotten wrong. We had four in our party and all the dishes arrived at various times. food was thrown on table. The final dish arrived after the others had finished eating. Terrible service and dismissive waitresses. The food became more spicy after it was packaged up to take home. Best food in the Chinatown chicago? Certainly not. Extremely disappointed.
First time trying this place. Have to say i was not disappointed. Service was standard but the food was delicious! We ordered the Tenderloin Steak and Green peppers, House Special Spicy Vegetable Fried Rice, Boiled Sole Fish Fillet in Spicy Szechuan Sauce and a couple egg rolls. Every single thing we ordered was delicious.I was scared to order the boiled sole but oh boy am i glad i tried it! It was so flavorful and spicy. I absolutely loved it! Will definitely be back to try some other things on the menu.
I ordered Noodle with Preeserved Vegetables & Pork - the best noodle I ever had in the past 3 years living in two cities with great Chinese food. The soup is so fresh and authentic. You can tell it's made from freshly cooked meat stew with time and care, not predetermined broth. Plus, unbeatable price and fast delivery. I am grateful!
I love Lao SzechuanThis is one of the restaurants we keep in our rotation of like 5-6 places for ordering out. It’s consitiently good, delivery is prompt. The heat is a normal level, mouth feels hot but not spicy. Dan Dan noodles are great, string beans, spicy chicken (I forget the name), sometimes short ribs, won tons, so good
