The food is absolutely amazing and so fresh! You can not go wrong with any item you order on the menu! Everything is truly amazing! The staff is so attentive and kind! There new patio addition is also truly the best! Can’t wait to go to the patio this summer!! Bottom line, You need to go here!
The vibes here on a Saturday evening/night were on point! The bar tenders were super cool, chatty, funny, and gave us out-of-towners some good recs. They'll show all the sports the guests want to see on their TVs. The drink menu was fire; the food that was coming out all looked incredible, though we didn't have any (definitely will next time). Fun times await at La Mejikana! Locals know this place is a gem and it gets busy!
Visited a few years ago pre-panorama and it was so good! Stopped by on a quiet night and the vegetarian huarache was AMAZING! I've been thinking about them ever since but couldn't remember the restaurant name until now.The service was nice and I can't wait to come back again!
This is the best Mexican place in Chicago. If you go when the patio is open, they’ve done an amazing job there with the wall paintings, heaters, nice tables and music. The food is absolutely amazing and you should try the Alita wings and most definitely save room for churros. Highly recommend and will be back soon.
Ae here to drink after a bad day at work. Friendly bartender. The salsa is amazingly good. We ended up getting ceviche thereafter which was also good. I would have gotten a taco but my friend said it was flour tortilla so opted on ceviche.

Where should I start , the michelada bomb , the birria tacos excellent! And the churros for dessert was the cherry on top waitress very polite and attentive always they never felt rush at all
Not a big Tequila guy but their mixed drinks are phenomenal and couldn't stop indulging myself, the bartenders know their stuff and were able to deliver even the most obscure drink I would ask for, the food is great and the vibes are fun and chill.Great place for a date night or as a hangout with friends, local patrons are friendly and so is the staff.Truly a hidden gem in the Pilsen area.
Food and drinks were great. The busser was super attentive. Stuffed piña is huge.
Ended up eating outside which is not an issue, however the heat lamps were just barely keeping the cold at bay. After we got our drinks we had to wait far longer than one would want, in order to actually order. The food was quite good though and the prices aren't crazy for the neighborhood.
