First time there and I'm not gonna lie it's a cute place, nice staff, and the food was good. I was a little sad because I do enjoy spicy food but most dishes had pork with it so I couldn't get any except the chicken ramen soup one but they did give me chili oil which was nice.
what a dope spot this place was! i’ll have to say the ramen was absolutely delicious and the wings were so crispy!!! if you like spicy, i would recommend asking for extra sauce on the side so you can add as much as you like. i really enjoyed it! can’t wait to go back
amazing service by the staff
Ordered ramen that came with such a small quantity of broth, it didn’t even fill half the to go container and all just absorbed into the noodles. Its not even soup at this point, its just damp noodles in a bowl. Final picture shows it with the minuscule amount already added.
A very cool and hip atmosphere. Nice music with anime playing in the background! The Chicken Karaage buns were to die for, comes with an array of tasty sauces. We ordered more than a couple of the alcoholic apple pineapple sangria which were dangerously delicious! The main course we got Spicy Ramen with a few modifications, which the staff was more than happy to accommodate. Spicy Ramen with spicy ground chicken and habanero was incredible, mouth wateringly good. This joint has quickly climbed to my top 3 Ramen in Chicago. I give it 5 chilis ?????
I enjoyed the appetizers. I had the chicken rich ramen which was good. I just wish I chose the low sodium option because it was salty. My other siblings thought their dishes we just okay. Overall not the best ramen I’ve had but not bad either
This restaurant was highly recommended but I didn’t enjoy the ramen. I had the Spicy Chicken Tan Tan ramen and it was okay. Honestly, what made it spicy was a lot of black pepper. I enjoyed the appetizers more than the ramen. Their Chicken Karaage and Edamame both were tasty. We also tried the Potato Croquette which was good. My sister had the Chicken Shoyu ramen and enjoyed that.
I love ramen and this was a pretty solid ramen place. I got the chicken rich ramen and it was amazing, definitely recommend. we also ordered the squid Karaage appetizer which I thought was the best of all the appetizers we got. The chicken Karaage and potato croquette were also good, but not sure I’ll order them again. Will definitely return.
We enjoyed our ramens and Pork Chashu bowl, full portions and delicious. The pork slices were tender and vegetables flavorful. We were a bit disappointed they were out of eggs, which is one of our favorite parts of ramen.Pictured is the Hakata ramen which doesn't come with egg, but the Tonkotsu ramen is pictured with one which we didn't get.
We were craving some Ramen and were actually looking to go to a Ramen location nearby that we found on our last walk. Unfortunately, we were a little early in the day and the original choice was closed so we kept walking until we found the next option. It was also a rare, warm day in Chicago and the windows at the front of restaurant opened up for some fresh air Unfortunately, it had taken a while to get service even though the restaurant was pretty empty. We had the Gyoza and Chicken Wings as starters. The Gyoza (pork) tasted great. I thought the chicken wings were an interesting flavor idea, but not particularly something that I enjoy. We had the Garlic and Spicy Ramen - the spicy ramen had more flavor then the garlic, but the amount of pork provided was rather large compared to what you get from a serving at other ramen spots. Overall, the flavor wasn't bad and the portion size was generous.
