If you charge $15 to play pool at 4 p.m. on a Saturday, your equipment had better be top notch. These were some of the worst condition pool tables I've ever played on, including at my share of dive bars. I wasn't expecting tournament billiards, but the two tables each were wobbly, had threadbare felt, rails literally falling off, no tips on cues, no chalk to be found, etc. Also, there was NOBODY else on this side of the restaurant, yet the waitstaff kept flying past me within INCHES at high speed carrying hot pizzas while I was trying to shoot. Even if I weren't in the middle of a game, it was dickish and weird because there was PLENTY of room to get around without invading customers' personal space.I can't comment on the quality of the bowling experience, but I can tell you it's similarly overpriced so I won't be coming back to try it out. I recognize that's the norm in this neighborhood, but this felt like a particularly poor value.

King's Entertainment on Clybourn is my first choice for bowling. This place offers a great fun atmosphere with 4 Billiards Tables, Full-size and Bank Shuffleboard Tables, two and 4-Player Air Hockey Tables, Foosball Tables, and of course, 16 Ten-Pin Bowling Lanes. In front, you'll have Full-Service Max and Leon's Artisan Pizza Restaurant Featuring Scratch-Driven Menu. You also can grab a drink in the bar area.If you want to watch a game while playing, they have many HDTVs showing various major sporting events and funny videos.Huge bonus this place offers -- 7-day specials and gift cards available. (Tuesdays 2$ bowling and table games from 9 pm till closing; Wednesday 8$ all you can bowl 9 pm till finish, and Thursday's are Ladies night! (first game is free from 9 pm till closing)).Incredibly hospitable and knowledgeable staff. In the evenings DJ spins a great variety of tunes.Besides, the location is excellent too! There are multiple other restaurants around Mariano's, movie theatre, and stores. Also, there are live music concerts in the summertime right in front. You can bring your bowling shoes and balls if you have them. It's a great place for date night or friends meet up!

My in laws visited from Belize, so we wanted to allow them to experience a place we’ve grown to love over the years - Kings Bowl! It’s been years since we’ve visited, but they’ve never disappointed. We had a party of 9, but we weren’t all arriving together. Upon arrival, we were assigned a lane, decided to get situated, get our shoes and then order our food so there wouldn’t be any interruptions while bowling. Well, by the time our last three guests arrived we added them to our lane because we were only on round 4 (we had a toddler bowling so preparing the ramp and dealing with tantrums also took time) We were told we’d get an additional 30 minutes because there were alot of people on our lane. However, we then realized our time was over and our 3 guests were then given 30 minutes to bowl. We are really confused! Here’s the issue: (1) it’s best to tell people their game is timed and even better to tell them their time limit. Don’t assume every guest knows. We spent a total of $260 just to bowl about 5 rounds. (2) they’ve completely changed the menu. We spend about $180 on 4 orders of wings, pizza, meatballs and nachos because that’s literally ALL they have on the menu now. I originally reserved a table to sit and eat, but I quickly realized there was no need because the calamari, quesadillas and shrimp we’ve grown to love was no more! It was the biggest disappointment of the night! I’ve never spent so much money, but have been given such little time to enjoy it. After nearly 7 years of visiting, We won’t return!

Staff and service was great. Bowling for 2 for an hour came to $42, and then pool was $15 for however long you wanted. Our bowling lane did have some minor issues in our favor (towards the end of our 3rd game, it was only resetting 8 or 9 pins), but nothing close to a deal breaker.

Bartenders and staff were great! But I’ve never been told that “time is up” at a bowling alley with only two frames left in our ONE game that we paid for. We were a little slow getting started but kept things going at a good pace through our game. You get a two minute warning and that’s IT. You are told thats it. We had been buying drinks consistently as well. Like I said, two frames left for four people and we were told we could join a waitlist if we wanted to play more. Next time I would just go to a regular bowling alley where you’re allowed to finish a game. Cashed out our VERY expensive tab and left disappointed.

Cool atmosphere, the food was pretty good. Me and my company usually have a pretty good time here.

I want to hear it's a great place but they didn't have any food that I can really eat as a vegan they have bowling and you can shoot pool in the waitresses really nice

Fitting name for this place because they treat you like ROYALTY! I booked my bf’s 34th bday party and we rented out the private suite and it was top tier experience and customer service. Our hostess was fantastic and the manager was very nice. The staff here are the best I’ve seen in an upscale bowling environment. This was a predominantly AA group of men in a Lincoln Park establishment, I can say that I assumed it would be a problem (as this is typically the case in any establishment) and we were treated as respected patrons! Kudos to KINGS!

A good time had by all!!! Excellent Service!!!

This place needs a 5 star review just off class. I really enjoyed the dining experience. I got the Black & Blue Burger and it was delicious. The Bleu cheese was great. I loved it. I'd definitely return and I must say, I really enjoyed the setting. I'd return.
