My new sushi spot! Kin sushi is a BYOB sushi & Thai spot with a variety of delicious rolls & Thai classics! I dined in but there were a ton of take out orders coming out the whole time I was there.I ordered the rock & roll, the sunny roll and my two classics - the California roll and spicy tuna. The presentation of the rolls was amazing with all the sauces on the plate! Each roll was better than the last and super fresh & flavorful! I was also impressed how decently priced everything was! On top of being BYOB which is a huge selling point for me, I got 4 rolls for under $50!

Pretty spot for indoor dining in Wicker Park. Thai+Sushi served and prepared with a lot of care. We thought the plating was mesmerizing and enhanced our dining experience. Service was great and you just can’t beat a $12 delicious lunch with wholesome portions.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and were blown away. The food is delicious and reasonably priced! I loved getting a mix of Thai food and sushi. The sushi platter was soooo good! Definitely worth checking out and it’s a BYOB.

Great priced sushi! Rolls we tried and loved Q Salmon, crispy kin, black pearl and rock & roll! they are also byob!

Kin Sushi is my new favorite sushi spot! The sushi is incredible and so are the appetizer dishes! You need to try their spring rolls! The service was amazing and the prices are very reasonable. Best spot in the neighborhood for sure!

Definitely some of the best sushi in Chicago! I dined in and tried some of the sushi rolls, Thai food, and apps and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The sushi was better than any I’ve had in the city - even sushi that I’ve spent 3x the price on! This spot is affordable and authentic. I recommend the tiger roll - fresh and delicious. I also loved the fresh rolls for an appetizer - refreshing and healthy, as well as the pad Thai which lasted me 3 servings. This is a great spot to takeout from, but the indoor dining area is cozy as well. This spot doesn’t have any frills, it’s more casual and laid back which makes for a relaxing visit. Definitely a hidden neighborhood gem! It’s also BYOB so keep that in mind! I had green tea which they continuously refilled to stay hot.Overall, great value for the prices. (Ex. A specialty roll is around $15, average app looked about $8). If you’re looking for a simple, cozy, and delicious sushi/Thai place with big portions, this is the perfect spot to go!!

There are a number of "neighborhood" sushi and Thai places in Chicago, but not all of them are that good. Some are just a "Jack of all trades, but a master at none". Worth just ok food. Kin Sushi & Thai Cuisine is one of the good ones. First, I like that they have a large menu and large number of dishes. On the night I went, I did not try their Thai food, but I'm looking forward to going back to try it. Second, their food is very good. I ordered the takoyaki as an appetizer, the tonkatsu ramen, miso soup, Black Peal roll, and Kin Sushi Combo. I especially liked their sushi. The Black Pearl roll to was very good and I would highly recommend it. Next, the sushi combo was great. I am lover of tuna sushi and I judge all sushi places on how they do tuna nagiri. The tuna is here is great and you should order it. Third, for a city restaurant parking is great. While they do not have a parking lot, street parking is very plentiful. I went on weekday night at around 6:00 pm and I have no issue getting a free parking spot. In fact, I park right a across the street on Milwaukee avenue. If you are looking for a sushi or ramen spot in the Noble Squire or should Bucktown area I would highly recommend Kin Sushi and Thai i Cuisine.
